Also, Desert Storm was war gamed by DoD about 6 months before it happened. One of my fellow instructors went to the Green Flag where it happened.

So this is when "law enforcement" was trained to contain the parents while the shooter roamed freely for 40 minutes? Infuriating.
What if the cops knew it was all a set up and no one actually died? What if the parents were actors? Did anyone die? They couldn't let anyone in to ruin the movie?

If the kids profiles aren’t real and the kids in the pictures didn’t even go to that school, then wouldn't somebody know that? Wouldn’t a teacher or parent be like, “hey, those kids didn’t attend school here.” Or something like that?

Joe Garcia, the husband of teacher Irma Garcia, who was killed on Tuesday in the Uvalde, Texas, school shooting, has died of an apparent heart attack.
According to the family of Irma Garcia, one of two teachers killed in Tuesday’s mass shooting, her husband of 24 years, Joe Garcia, has now died.
Garcia’s nephew, John Martinez, posted on Twitter, “EXTREMELY heartbreaking and come with deep sorrow to say that my Tia Irma’s husband Joe Garcia has passed away due to grief, I truly am at a loss for words for how we are all feeling, PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR FAMILY, God have mercy on us, this isn’t easy.”
Local news reporter, Ernie Zuniga, posted on Twitter that Garcia suffered a fatal heart attack. He noted that the two had four children together. Zuniga noted that “Joe and Irma were high school sweethearts.”
The news further impacts the already grieving community and the Garcia family.
Irma had reportedly died trying to protect the children in her classroom. The shooting in Uvalde left 19 students and two teachers dead after an 18-year-old gunman opened fire inside the school on Tuesday.

This was not a Training "Opportunity" at my department, it was a Requirement. This mind set makes all the difference in the world.

Look at the date, it was for Mar 21, 2022. The form was made in 2018, this kind of thing is what happens every day. A template is created for a certain format and structure, then you fill in the dates and events as needed w/o having to create the whole thing new over and over.

No. That is not the training for school active shooters. First officer goes in and engages shooter, hopefully kills the shooter and at the very least distracts shooter and saves lives. This concept evolved from Columbine because that's exactly what they didn't do then. Either something else is afoot or it's an entire department full of pussies.
I’m a retired Deputy Sheriff from a major LE agency in Texas. Won’t say which because I still working as a civilian now. Those classes come around pretty often.
And do they teach officers to stand around and contain parents outside rather than go stop an active shooter? What’s that all about? Shouldn’t police have showed up armed and prepared to an active shooter scene?

No way they don’t stand around. This whole thing stinks. I just wanted to let people know that active shooter training is pretty common. That’s all. The deputies I worked with would have disregarded any order to stand down. They all have kids too.

If this was mandated training my question would be who all has access to the protocol for an active shooter? Could the shooter be trained to counter that protocol?
Certainly some weirdness with the officer response, arresting of parents, and shooter's financials.
In a way he did by locking himself in classroom and inflicting maximum damage to all in the room. But the law enforcement response to this incident is counter to what is taught in these trainings.
How do we know there was even an incident? Your saying the shooting was real. New town was fake. Very fake. Watch hours of videos back in the day. Like a training exercise. This is no different. Fake people dying. Fake parents overreacting. Cops learning what to do. But the twist...it’s reported as real. And no one dare report the opposite. How can this be done? When you control the media, and law enforcement. Only dead people try and ask questions or tell a tale.
