As a hockey fan, I used to hate Theo so much that I wished he were on my team? He was that good... that he's not in the Hall is a disgrace!
Fleury will always be in our own GAW HoF for being one of the few true star athletes to publicly speak out against the Pedo State, as he was a direct victim by [their] acts, and then again by their cover-ups.
This has been the first year I've ever had an interest in hockey. In the past I've thought of those guys as light in the loafers and the such. But after hearing that most hockey players are 6'3" and 240# it got me going ..mmmmmmm....Then I began watching and was amazed at the skill level these dudes have. Stopping on a dime, skating backwards, pinpoint accuracy with the puck. Amazing what these guys accomplish. Didn't know they skated on broken legs, though. So now I give props to all hockey players no matter what level they play on.
Yep. I thought that way for decades. I equated hockey players to ice skaters who twirled and jumped high. Nine times out of ten those figure skaters were light footed so I just thought hockey players fell right in step. This year I began watching the Blues and really took an interest in the play. Quite quickly I figured out these dudes aren't faggs. They are real men who hit like a ton of bricks and take a punishment into the boards. Doing it all on skates to boot. My respect for the sport and the men who play the sport certainly has risen. Even the toughness in the NFL cannot match what NFL players endure. Heck, I've seen guys take a stick to the lip or nose, go off the ice to get a compress and within 2-3 minutes they are back on the ice. In the NFL a player would be carted off the field and then maybe come back in a bench warming position. Yea, It's been hard to understand some aspects of hockey, but I certainly am learning. Plus it's a lot easier to follow the action now, after learning where the puck goes after it's hit into the corner. Goalies are the toughest players, continually being hit with a puck going 90mph. No way I'd want that position, no matter what it pays. They are crazy good.
The skill they have is amazing. Skating while stick handling while looking forward. Make note of the passes they make. It's amazing. These guys know where everyone on their team is and they aren't even looking. I've seen cases where a guy had his back to the offensive zone and somehow knew his winger was breaking and made a very nice pass for a break away. The saucer passes over sticks. Letting a not so perfect pass bounce off your skate blade to your stick while moving forward.
The one thing that really bothers me though is the lack of checking, especially by defensemen. When I see a player make some deke on a defenseman and get past while the defenseman is going after the puck is drives me nuts. While I didn't play defense I believe the number one rule for them was "always take the body".
Money. Look at all sports, once upon a time players played for the love of the sport, now it's to get rich. Look back to the ol days of the NFL, the players back then were as tough as nails now the sport has been so pussified it's a joke. Money and the worship of money ruins everything, we lost our country and the morality of the world because of it. The cabal and their money magic knew exactly how to attack the world. It makes me sick sometimes being on GAW and see posts about buying stocks and folks trying to come out rich on top of this mess the world's in now, when are we going to think differently?
Damn, I don't normally read sthose articles but that was heartbreaking and truly gighlights the predatory nature of these groomers. The most manipulative fucks you've ever seen.
Here’s some context about the horrors he endured, https://www.macleans.ca/society/theoren-fleury-was-abused-an-absolute-nightmare-every-day-of-my-life/amp/ I know many hockey players that billet in teens and were abused by men and women. Kinda across all sports but hockey you’d go live with host families and back then zero vetting.

Excellent posts.
Heartbreaking.
He is courageous to put up with all the online abuse that is constantly thrown at him. An amazing hockey player and now an amazing champion for truth.
Hockey players are the toughest sons of bitches.
They play on BROKEN LEGS so they won't lose their spots.
How did so much of the sport get so cucked?

A decent video comparing playoffs between the 4 major US sports.
