Correct me if I'm wrong, but this title is very misleading. If you read the opinion piece that it is linked to, the seizing of voting machines is in response to recent claims that Republicans were trying to secure the machines... so it's backwards!
The opinion piece is ripping to shreds the absurdity of what's going on... that Democrat leaders are facilitating an investigation into whether or not Republicans breached voting security and if there's a crime, and the State Police was given the warrants to seize machines as evidence.
Is this somehow a white hat cover? Time will tell. But the title of this post is misleading.

I read a bit further, maybe I missed a paragraph, but I’m not sure what this is. Maybe that was just gaslighting by the media from what it “appears” to be happening, from what actually is.
I hear ya. Why did it take soooo long? My guess it took that long in order to get a Head of the Michigan State Police who was not corrupt. We need to plaster the interwebs with idea that county sheriffs have a lot of power. Start electing Republican sheriffs and then have those sheriffs go after Dominion. The State cannot do anything about a Sheriff going after bad guys, whether on the right or the left.
Republicans got their hands on some machines to investigate and prove the voter fraud from 2020, and the only way the Derp State could stop it was to issue warrants and have the police seize the machines so that the evidence can be destroyed.
My immediate reaction is that cops are, as usual, seizing evidence to OBSTRUCT justice, not to ensure it.
Until conclusively proven otherwise, they are 100% certainly acting to PROTECT the criminals. This is the society we now live in: A hideous, monstrously dystopian one where the doctors, preachers, judges, and cops are the BAD guys. You have no one to protect you from the ever-swelling evil.

I believe I heard it's because they believe maga people has stolen "illegal voter info" from the machines.
