My neighbor is an OTR trucker who's gone 3.5 weeks a month. East coast to west coast. South to North. Everywhere in between.
Saw him yesterday and he was talking about how his fuel is up to 10k a month. He did not mention shortages at all and trust me, he's a trucker he loves to gossip, he would have mentioned this.
Good call. I was thinking that we need a trucker to weigh in on this. There’s got to be a trucker in this community, and if this were true, someone would not only have first hand accounts, but multiple people from different places and sources confirming the same. My in laws have a diesel car, and I used to, so naturally I look at diesel whereas I used to be ignorant. I have not seen any shortages nor signs of shortages in New England, but now I will keep my eyes peeled while driving.
I just showed this to my wife, she says people on Facebook are saying things like “It would have happened no matter who was president; it’s global; happening all over the world” - No - Bidan’s first day he shut down domestic production- it’s really simple. We have more than enough oil to last hundreds of years, that’s just what’s known. Oil is being created in the depths of the earth infinitely - there’s millions of years of organic material being created constantly.
Cavuto had some idiot on today who said that gas prices were 95 percent Putin's fault. Cavuto called him out, but of course, he responded with "it's more like a third"
How can you say that losing 3 percent of our petroleum leads to a 33 percent price hike? You're correct, if we had it all domestically sourced, we wouldn't have any trouble. All it would take is Biden ending his executive orders that made it harder to drill
There may be something to the DEF thing because of the natural gas restrictions from Russia/China. Natural gas is required for DEF and Urea production as well as fertilizer.
I am not confirming anything, just a point of view...

I’m in the oilfield and my truck takes diesel, I haven’t had any problems, nor have the guys that I know that own trucking companies.
This video says it's source: Trust me bro.
even if it were, can't you run a diesel on well-filtered cooking oil if you have to?
I do know it's turned into Bio Disel
Think of it like a rolling brown out, or sporadic black outs....
Then you'll get it.....
Sure has been a lot of fear mongering lately…
pffft, just get an electric car. What's the big deal?
Trucker here. Not OTR, so i only know in my region of the SE US. But I've not even heard of rumors of shortages
Thanks for your input and the invaluable service you provide through your work.

I deal with farmers daily, haven't heard of diesel shortages yet anyway ? some rumblings about DEF though.

Didn't know natural gas was required. Thanks
It is the Urea I believe.
I bet there will be plenty of jet fuel for business class.
Who needs diesel when you got AOC
That’s for hot air balloon’s
So can we stuff her in a saddle tank a keep on truckin'?

Just took my husband through what happens after 24 hours without truckers, then 2 days and on and on, earlier this morning. I had the page bookmarked.
Caused by sanctions? Does he mean the sanctions placed on domestic production? Or is he just wrong?
Biden’s America
She. Or xir. Whatever.
