I would think this will backfire. Congratulations you weaponized the very block of citizenry that has the experience to be a real threat. A 60 year old vet reliant upon the VA might just have nothing left to lose. Is it too far of a stretch to think that with what has been done with banking in Canada, vaccines, and red flag laws, that future actions such as this are out of the question?
I like this thought. Veterans get shit upon daily by the US Gov. I'm an RN; I'm also a military wife; I've seen it with my own eyes. This, plus the SCOTUS ruling today, should wake people up! We cannot allow veterans to continue to be treated like dirt after they offer their lives in service to our country! It's a disgrace!!!!!!

I've got letters my grandfather wrote to Ike 80 years ago trying to get the government to give him disability for the tuberculosis that almost killed him in POW camp after 13 months.
They literally say things like "we do not feel that your illness is a result of your service and therefore decline your request"

not saying it's right in this case, but that's always been a thing. if someone is in jail for i think over 90 days, maybe more, all VA benefits, by statute, are supposed to stop cause whatever benefits they are entitled (healthcare, disability) is supposedly not needed, since the correctional facility is supposed to take care of their needs.
wouldn't shock me if the VA tries to claw back what they think are over payments.

Okay Congress, make a law and override this. For once in your careers, do something worthwhile to earn your seat in Congress. Talk is cheap of you do nothing. So when those government infiltrators in Jan. 6 are found out, indicted and prosecuted, remember this: those in the government will have all of their cushy government protections and benefits removed. Tit for tat. Unsigned letter? That is rich! If unsigned, I would not trust it. I would demand a signature and hold them accountable.
