I mean, on one hand it is disturbing that being normal is now part of the "counter culture". On the other hand, I find it to be a REALLY good thing that now it's "cool" to be a straight, traditional, Christian who wants a nuclear family.

I would call this encouraging, not frightening.

I'd dabbled in mycology around fall of last year, a forum I'd joined has a "Counter-Culture" sub-forum.

After reading and replying in a few of the threads in said sub-forum I realized that most there were just asleep sheep. Very counterintuitive for me given the very nature of the site. To me it seemed to imply counter-culture. Maybe I've had some deep misconceptions of what this means...
