I am seeing a serious problem.
Many naive or RINO people are running campaigns in a way that is not safe for volunteers. Most are probably simply naive, computer illiterate, and more than a bit stupid, but we need to do something about it anyhow.
They are requiring volunteers who are naive enough to do this to install apps on their phones to do door knocking, such as Sidekick. The volunteers are tracked just like the bad guys were tracked in 2000 Mules, but this time the bad guys are tracking the good guys. It doesn't matter what the app developer says. Deep State owns both mobile operating systems. Door knocking can easily be done by using the voter databases, typically Comma Separated Variable files, and importing them into a database or using OpenOffice to generate printed lists. Anyone who says that door knocking did not exist before mobile phones is a liar.
These people walking around as Republican volunteers might easily be attacked by Antifa. Many times they are senior citizens. Or the volunteers could be locked up in jail like the January 6 crowd, or have their bank accounts frozen. None of this is new.
Antifa attacks Republicans on a regular basis. Here is a list from some time ago: https://dailycaller.com/2017/06/16/this-list-of-attacks-against-conservatives-is-mind-blowing/. Look online. There are a huge number of attacks.
Sometimes campaign organizers also use Google apps to do organizing work, just handing Patriot data to Deep State.
It is July. We don't have much time. Find out if your area's Republican campaigns are doing this stupid stuff, and raise hell. Totally ignoring basic cybersecurity precautions is a very very bad idea and very dangerous to Patriots.
This is a war. Why is security being ignored?
And please spread the word on this.
This sounds like mostly nonsense. While it may be a concern in some small percentage of cases, I think that most volunteers in the country are not about to be attacked and if they are there is legal recourse for them. Instead we should be encouraging people to be prepared to defend themselves and their families should they be attacked, under whatever circumstance, be it volunteering or not.
beyond this, most people are not very safe on the internet. I dont think the deep state would need you to download an app to track down targets if they really wanted to attack them.
Democrats love wearing masks and terrorizing folks. Been doing it since the 1870s!
US Military uses linux hardware, with a bare bones installation and only necessary mission critical apps, to stop this very problem.
Whenever possible, reduce attack surface, use simpler open source tech instead of convenient closed source apps, do in person meetings if you can to avoid sending messages thru hostile networks, and if you must communicate electronically, leave as much information in the context as possible, use abbreviations, pronouns instead of Proper Nouns, use a VPN, don't use Facebook or any of their apps to organize or do anything if possible
What Would Kyle Rittenhouse Do?
So you think big data is going to steal data in real.time then send geo tracking data to antifa faggots to attack republicans (with what? Dildos and concrete milk shakes?), so the Republicans shouldn't do it?
You know what? Fuck you. Don't present shit like this unless you have solution for your concerns. Your post is the very definition of concern trolling.
There is nothing wrong with a warning or heads up Anon. It allows each of us to decide if it’s warranted to others. Their is no need to be hostile towards the Anon TripleBlack. Either take the info or move on please. Thank you.
It's fear mongering some faggot dreamed up between turd drops.
I mean does anyone really think big tech would do this: "we got some Republicans going door to door at 5th and main. Send the antifa fags over there to rough them up." I mean come on.
The only reason for this post is to spread FUD (fear, uncertainty, and doubt).
Arm yourself and carry on
I believe all Americans should be open carrying. I have thought this for decades. We allow the thugs to open carry and they are illegal. I say open carry because that shows a definition. We need to fix elections for decades too. Maybe there is enough traction to do both? We need to go vote and be scared of a what if. American is United and the democrats want all of us to be scared to vote. They are very smart and we all know this. God is only on one side of the political spectrum. The democrat party does not allow Christianity in any longer—they call Christianity a conspiracy theory and yet they want a Christian to bow to their woke religion. Even those who do not believe and have common morals can see this.
Maybe we need to get the app, and walk aroubd either armed or with armed backup. Would love to bait out those antifa faggots.
The original poster is actually correct. Worked in IT for many, many years.
Cybersecurity is a simple checklist to use encrypted apps with no ads and no tracking. You just have to substitute what you're used to with an alternative that works just as well or better.
There is no reason, no reason whatsoever to use apps that track you.
You can de-google your phone easily. There are alternatives to all of googles software.
maps.me or 'wego here' by nokia work equally as well for google maps.
use AURORA STORE instead of playstore. Only use apps that have NO ADS.
Signout of all google apps.
Use proton.me for email/calendar.
use telegram x (secret chat function) for messaging/comms.
Use graphene to reformat your phone with a safe OS or pay/ask an IT friend to do it for you.
Use trusted, reputable antispyware tools
etc.
Google doesn't invent anything new, they just copied other ideas and used them for data whoring.
People get lazy with cybersec because they fell there is no immediate danger.
Yet just like locking your front door, its not until its too late that you find out someone has been stalking you, and then they attack.
If someone in the military used weak cybersec tools they would be court martialed.
Treat your data as if it were your life on the line. Even if you have nothing to hide.
And never do anything harmful or illegal of course.
SHORT ANSWER: Installing linux or graphene and ceasing usage of google apps (switching to alternatives) is actually not difficult to do at all. Takes about an hour to setup.
Drivers get overwritten by the OS being swapped out. Voila, no tracking.
If all you do is email, messaging, browsing, maps/navigation, literally any phone can do these without any google tools at all.
And of course uninstall all social media apps. Use telegram or other secure apps only for group chat.
What breaks cybersecurity is you. Bad habits. Securing a phone and then, like an idiot, logging into facebook. Don't. Or installing protonmail but then switching back to gmail just because you can't seem to let it go. Don't.
Stick to what works.
No one is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to use insecure tools. Companies simply make these convenient (like cigarettes).
Uninstall all facebook & google & 'big tech' apps from your phone.
Other than the Telegram point, I totally agree with you. I've always been wary of telegram and subsequently signal due to well... I distrust apps that are secretive about their permissions.
threema is popular with USMIL. Encrypted chat that is not google/fb oriented.
(dont use whatsapp or gchat)
I encourage people to hear what Rob Braxman (on UghTuub and Odysee) has to say about phones.
To summarize: All iPhones track you (the newers ones will even when you power them off by using Bluetooth Low Energy to act like an Airtag), and all Google Android phones track you.
Android Open Source Project is where Google's Android comes from and they add their proprietary tracking garbage to it and then that is what most phone manufacturers use. De-googled phones are phones that have been reflashed with a different custom version of AOSP without the proprietary trash.
Not all phones can be de-googled because it takes volunteer time to reverse engineer the hardware drivers for each one. Right now the best phones for de-googleing are (ironically) some of the Google Pixels. Rob Braxman also managed to parter with a manufacturer to create a de-googled phone from scratch: the Brax2.
If you don't want glowies watching your every move but still want a phone a de-googled phone is your BEST option. But remember that the baseband modem in ALL phones (including the Brax2) is proprietary with backdoors because there is still no alternative, so the state can use that to spy. It is even possible for the state to remotely instruct your phone to dial a number covertly so they will be able to hear what it hears without you knowing.
So don't be an interesting target and have a phone at the same time. The rest of time have a de-googled phone.

i shall only do as instructed by gregg phillips
why
Lol?
Maybe by design
It's sort of along the lines of how that super ultra secret ultra safe and secure messaging app for the 'bad guys' was a honeypot set up by 3 letter agencies.
I don't remember what the app was called. Or it was a physical phone?? I just remember that it was marketed to the unsavory sort, and that the letter agencies were watching these convos in real time.
People sure spout off a lot if they think they're safe...
Thank you!
Well Signal does "REQUIRE" Google services for the purpose of message routing on Android to operate. If I am not mistaking, it uses Google Cloud messaging specifically for this, MicroG sorta works but the device still basically has to be registered in google servers for Signal to operate.
And Telegram... well, it just seems like a honeypot to me really. The only secure communications is talking in code.
That said, I'm surprised nobody ever talks about Briar.
I see your point. No reason to run an "app" to do a job, RNC has its own skeletons.. But I believe the overton window has shifted enough, so id say the threats would be few and far between. That does not ignore the duty to protect yourself and others; I just think some of the serfs are sacred to do much right now, or they've literally lost attention of it and are apathetic. Hopefully I'm right. Hopefully things are about to get better
Thanks for the heads up anon.
Thank you for the heads up Anon. Each Anon reading this can put a warning out just to be safer than sorry.
In this case, it is not an either/or. The campaigns can easily be run without endangering volunteers.
I have done so, and they will be taking action. But that is just one campaign. The same problem is happening throughout the country.
How do you get a sticky when the post score is 4?
It was a legit question.
A mod can sticky a post if they think its relevant...regardless of upvotes
