40 yards... that's pretty far for a pistol. Would love to know more about his weapon and how often he practices.
Glock, and probably a lot - not easy to hit a target 8 of 10 times from that distance!

That’s really really above average shooting for a deadly force incident with a pistol. The usual police shootout numbers are terrible. Like 75% miss rate at 25 feet.
Wish there was video of it. I’m curious how he did it, if he used something as a arm rest to stabilize or kneeled.
It’s almost hard to believe that 40 yard number is accurate when you look at the statistics. That’s extremely outside the average. And the grouping appeared good in the photo of body. Several wounds center mass within 4 inches of each other. Incredible.

I am suspicious of 40 yards as well. 40 feet sounds more likely. 40 yards is 120 feet. Many people at the range don't even practice pistol shooting at 40 yards. But I also believe in divine intervention. Rittenhouse for example.

It depends the kind of pistol, in general you can load the magazine into the mag well. From there you’re going to want to cycle a round. In which case you pull back on the slide with one hand while firmly holding the pistol with your other hand. From there assuming you didn’t buy one of those old school crapboxes you don’t have to worry about a safety, just pull the trigger she’ll go boom. Lesson 2 of reloading, malfunctions and weapon manipulation is gonna have to wait for another day.

Well done my friend!!! I have my P22 Sig Sauer that I would like to carry but it is a little too big to conceal and get to quickly. Anyone out there know of a smaller Sig I could try? I have small hands with limited strength as I am a 68 yr old female. My Sig is great for the shooting range but don’t really want to carry it around.

You may be interested in either the HK P30SK or VP9SK. Or the USP compact, but thats an older model. Any of them though will have similar quality to a Sig.
