2 year-olds know very little about the world as it is, these people really think 2 year-olds can grasp reality enough to know what it means to be trans? Kids play all the time. Boys like to walk around in their mommy's high heels just to see what it's like. Doesn't mean he's trans. Ditto for girls carrying their daddy's tool belt.

It's probably because of what is in the stores. Not a lot of great choices. Basically white, puke yellow or poop green if you aren't shopping for a certain gender.
Nowadays girls get pink, purple and floral schemes. Or horrible graphics and sayings.. ugh. Boys get blue, brown, green and grey. Stripes, trucks, superheroes or dinosaurs.

Right! What the hell with the down votes.....there’s no logical explanation as to why someone would down vote this unless they misunderstood or don’t like me for some reason. It’s not like we’re letting our child choose their gender! We’re just not finding out what they are until they’re born. We have to have something for the baby to wear. All newborn clothes are definitely “little man” stuff or floral over the top ruffle stuff. You’d think the freaks of the world would have a huge problem with this.

Recently took a look at the word "Engendered" which is defined as "to make happen", "give birth to". To my shock, it is based on the same french word as Gender with the prefix "in" from latin. The word is Genre , which means "make of", "type of" it comes from Latin Genus. Genus, is the base of Gender, meaning... family.
By the very history of the words, gender cannot be a spectrum, as the nature of it to the fullest extent of our knowledge. As it requires specifically 2 genders to engender a family. Out of 3; Male, Female, Other.
Even when a species reproduces asexually, we use "male" for the parts that give the seed; we use "female" for the parts that house the birth.
We could use any words. But the irrefutable feature of "gives seed" and "houses seed" are the defining traits.
