Here is a little twist... What Biden could gain from pardoning Trump... The Justice Department could indict Trump. Before Trump could start his defense Biden could pardon him for "the good of the country" Is the Washington Post getting the country ready for that BS?

No, Trump would not stand for his name being besmirched. I believe he would demand a trial from which he could reveal all to the world.
Exactly. How does one introduce evidence...
Of course he would. The article is from an alternate universe. What gets me is liberals eat stuff like this up believing it is true.
"Fuck you Joe, and fuck your pardon. Let's do this!"
Can one refuse a pardon?
I don’t know for a fact, but I would assume so. I would say, “no thank-you.” “My reputation is more important than a pardon for something I did not do. I want to go to trial.“
I dont think so. This was discussed early into Trumps first term, I believe, re Flynn.
This means they have no idea how to stop this from happening. And are doing some of the dumbest shit to try.
It would also mean Biden, while illegitimate, has the power to pardon at all .....
Not really, That would just be for optics. President Trump does not need to be pardoned. It would just be a show.
Absolutely not. They are basically saying Trumps a criminal and could be pardoned by Biden. What does he have to be pardoned for. If he is indicted he needs to fight it to show the world he has done nothing. Other wise for the rest of his natural life all you will hear is he is a criminal that got away with his crimes because he was pardoned. This is total garbage.
I was wondering the same thing. We know President Trump does not have to be pardoned. What would happen if Biden came out today and announced that He is issuing a pardon before this goes any further for the good of the country.
President Trump can't even defend himself because he was never indicted. There is nothing to defend.
Read my lips - Trump will not be indicted. Period.
