There was literally zero credible argument in favor of getting the vaccine. Zero.
It was not a hard issue to research. I've invested more time in researching lawn mowers. Scott is just embarrassed that his "research" amounted to passively absorbing AP talking points.
The absence of an mRNA vaccine ever passing safety standards. Undermining studies that would have prevented EUA from passing. Censoring any debate about the product or COVID in general. Dismissing VAERS cases. Suppressing the trial data. Not testing pregnant women then immediately recommending they take it. Pushing it on kids and younger people who were completely unaffected. The government going to insane levels to coerce people into taking it rather than just offering it on its own merits.
Just a never-ending parade of red alerts that fuckery was afoot. I step away from my desk and remember ten more. Any single one of the points mentioned in this thread was a perfectly cogent reason not to take the product, and known at the time the product was offered.

We weren't afraid because we took the time to understand what was going on. We did enough research to know that something was not right and the media could not be trusted.

I've been aware for at least 5 years that the vaccine companies falsify data and our government health agencies are bought and paid for. It was a complete no brainer for me. Instant rejection of any and all experimental medical products.
If the infection fatality rate was up around 10%, I might think about an emergency use authorized product, but I'd still want to see some actual data that the stuff actually worked. The data, from the beginning, wasn't even close to justifying the mass-scale deployment of these products. People refused to read the science. Most of these people did it for foolish political reasons, to prove they were one of the trusting majority that "believes in the science". Where's that science now?

More like studying for many, many weeks to find out that the vaccines weren’t even tested on humans and that all of the animals tested died. Then, I warned everyone I could not to take them. My kids and husband listened. Several other friends did not. We’re in the weirdness now with the vaxxed ones. They act different.
