Hello Everyone, I have a question. My fancy 1000.00 5G phone is burning the crap out of my hand. I have been having a stining sensation on my left hand. It goes away if i leave it on the charger away from my body. But damn if im on the forums the stinging returns. Its the phone and comes back as soon as I pick up this hand held microwave. Can anyone suggest a method to handle this thing or turn down the singing affect? I plan on turning off mobil and switching to wifi when at home. My cellphone provider built new towers and we had to switch to all 5G phones. They told us the 4G phones would no longer work. This is ridiculous.

They (ATT) told us the 3g would no longer work with a lot of advance notice. I dropped my old phone a few to many times and wound up with a 4g as a tax on careless, but spouse had the same 3g (dropped fewer times), until one day it stopped working for anything phone related.
Unless the 5g towers start tipping over or spontaneously combusting (I've seen interesting video of of Europe where they catch fire and burn crazy colors), I'm gonna say the plan is to stop 4g also.
We're about there as well, looking also at Rob Braxman, who has been on the phone/mobile privacy wave for years. He sells private phones but also tells you how to do it to your own devices. Yes, you give up the "conveniences" that are how they control you.
The day they send me that notice will be the day that I decide that I don't need a cell phone anymore. I will not trade up.
Sounds like you have a short passing current into your phone.
THIS.
Your phone is defective. There's electrical damage that is shorting current to the exterior. Take it back.
How do I prove this?
Ask the sales rep to hold the phone for a few minutes.
Voltmeter?
Have the store person try it out?
I dunno...
Maybe a little google-fu will turn up other's who have had to deal with this?
Whats the device name and service provider? I would guess you can turn off 5g and enable 4g VoLTE.
Also this sounds kinda placebo'y in that if the phone is heavier, larger or much smaller it may cramp your hand holding for periods of time which could trigger a "never happened before" kind of thing.
Tmobile recently turned off their 2g and 3g where my mom lives and they swapped out her flip for a smartphone. We just turned off mobile data and she uses it like a phone with wifi when she needs to. She didn't ask for or need a new phone but the old one was not going to function any longer and there was no cost.
Not downplaying your issues but 5G imo has not yet showed us on a large scale what it's capable of when it comes to negative health effects. I do believe it can be harmful but im still waiting to see exactly what it does and to whom
Yes T Mobile - told me the old note 8 would no longer work.
I use a Note 8 (4G) through Verizon and it still works great. Different towers, so who knows...
Regardless, I would never go 5G -- too many health risks and the towers are only in select cities, as far as I know. I suppose it could also just be a tech issue within the phone itself, but I've read a few articles now that make me suspicious of 5G in general.
What kind of device are you currently using? Most likely you can turn off the 5G radio and probably get a battery boost
S22Ultra. All the bells and whistles.
Try this, and then restart the device:

It’s basically like standing in front of your microwave with the door open.
Try switching off 5G mode in the phone settings.
I'll be blunt. The 5G is killing you slowly by what is referred to as 'soft' kill microwave energy. In years to come, the probability of you developing a life threatening cancer or some neurological affliction is very high. The best thing to do is to get rid of your cell phone all together. In saying this, I'll be hearing the haranguing howls coming from those people preferring to live their lives in Plato's cave. I have news for them. There is a beautiful life without a cell phone. I got rid of mine 4 years ago. I'm happy, healthy, wiser, and free.
"I'm happy, healthy, wiser, and free."
I'm still on a landline, live out in the country with my animals, and know exactly what you mean. I see people in town all the time behaving as if they're a slave to their smartphones. I wouldn't want to live like that.
Agreed!
It's not one or the other.
If you don't want the "haranguing howls" from people "preferring to live their lives in Plato's cave" maybe you should post some sauce for your claim. Especially if you actually care about the health of anybody here who might not be fully convinced.
And tools don't make you unhappy, unhealthy, unwise, and unfree. How you use them certainly can though, but that's all up to the individual.
I rest my case. Ever see the Star Trek Next Generation episode called -- "The Game"? Watch it. There are no coincidences.
I rest mine.
And yes there are.
And tools still don't make you any of those things nor do they control you.
Watch "The Game" and save yourself from wearing the mark.
A phone is not the mark assuming you mean the mark of the beast.
It was you who first said "mark of the beast". I did not. Since you stated it, I will say the 'smart' phone is the gateway to the 'mark of the beast'. It will be used to set up the required system of universal dependency to make the mark of the beast possible. Watch "The Game" episode to see how this is possible.
So you agree it's not the mark.
Accepting one does not make it a given you accept the other.
Further, I'm not even convinced it's the gateway. From what I've seen it seems likely that their plan is to make an implantable chip that goes in your hand or your forehead that will be the only way to buy and sell, and also track you at all times. A phone is not a requirement for this. It may be part of it but they could just as easily skip it and push for the chip directly with no phone integration/requirement if people all decided they didn't want a phone. And all they need to do to ensure dependency is to make it required to buy and sell. A LOT of people would unfortunately get it in the blink of an eye. No phone or prior established system of universal dependency required. Simply make it law that you need the chip to buy and sell and the job is done. Frankly, I doubt having people be dependent on their phones beforehand would make a big difference in this.
I suppose you could say that since people have accepted the phone, because they're likely planning on integrating the chip with the phone, and because their method/plan does appear to be to use the phone as the precursor that does make it the gateway to the 'next step', but then I'd just refer you back to the second thing I said in this reply. I don't need to accept the mark to make use of a separate, possibly indirectly linked technology. Using a tool does not mean the tool is using me, though it can and does for many people.
In fact, my phone is extremely useful. There are plenty of times when I use it to look something up on the spot when going to the computer isn't ideal or possible. When arguing something with someone who isn't fully convinced I find it much better to find an actual source to read from instead of just expecting them to believe me. I also can't remember everything so it's helpful to be able to verify I'm giving out the correct and full information. It's also useful for me when I don't know something to be able to look it up. Knowledge is power and being able to learn anything from anywhere is extremely useful.
There are also plenty of people here on GAW who use their phones to access the site, and I'd wager at least a portion of them don't even own a computer. Without the smartphone, they'd not be able to come here or similar places with the truth and would simply be at the mercy of the MSM for their news, or have no information on the larger outside world at all. Which isn't a terrible thing but would mean one less person working with us to hopefully fix the country and the world.
You say you have a "stining sensation" then you write "singing affect". (I assume you mean effect.) It's not clear to me what you are trying to describe and is it momentary or lasting?
What happens if you place a piece of aluminum foil over your hand then place the phone on it. any sensation?
Edit: I see you also wrote "stinging" but you wrote "burning" in the title. I'm assuming that it's not connected to the charger when this happens?
Nice: I get downvoted for asking for clarification as I'd like to help. I'm an electronics engineer; I understand technology but I don't understand what OP is struggling to describe. I need more info.
OK so happens while holding in left hand. Not right away but after about 5 min. The stining sensation is on the back of the hand like a sunburn. I switch hands and it starts with the right hand. While working a 10 hr shift I have no symptoms. But after work I start perusing the forums and the stinging returns. It only happens while holding the phone. I'm going to try turning off mobil data and see what wifi does? I didn't think about a power leak. The phone is in a case made of plastic but the screen is unprotected.
So the phone is held in the palm of your hand but the stinging sensation is on the back of your hand. (By the way, there's no such thing as a "power leak" from a battery-powered phone.)
Based on the information that you've provided so far, the only possibility is the RF radiation from the phone and this will be greater in a weak signal area where the phone must transmit a stronger signal.
Are you in a weak signal area?
I'd like to know whether the problem exists when you place a large sheet of aluminum foil between your hand and the phone?
I'd like to know whether the problem exists in a strong signal area?
I'd like to know whether the problem exists when you set the phone to WiFi only?
You should do these tests to narrow down the possibilities.
Some people are more sensitive to RF radiation.
I've waited more than a day for a response and now I'm closing this tab.
Time to break out the tin-foil gloves...oh wait...
My ear used to get sore and stuffed up when I used mine to talk so it's gone now.
Back away from the phone! It's obviously leaking and/or you're in between the tower and the receiver. Switch to wifi and stop the 5g data immediately. Many serious studies show tremendous disruption on a cellular level when tissues are expressed to 5g, see orwell.city for translations of a scientific group in Europe (La Quinta Columna) who for years have been performing studies and analyzing others' studies in these areas.
Maybe after you see some of their stuff, you can select a meter to buy that will show you the electromagnetic waves in and around your appliances and home. We did. Smart meters can be alarming. Once you are armed with more knowledge about the EMF around you, you can decide on appropriate shielding.
Put it in your other hand.....
In all seriousness, you should not have the phone anywhere near you while not in use, especially not in your pants pocket if you are male, or in your bra if you are female. My g/f got breast cancer doing that circa 2010.
True, we keep them in the kitchen at night.
Go to your settings for cellular then click cellular data options and change it from auto 5g to LTE only. (On iPhone)
S22 ULTRA. I will see if I can do this?
Found settings turned on Lte only. Thanks everyone for your input.i will see what happens.
I can't help you out but you do not have to accept 5g, that is 'your' call.
Yeah, it is a bad thing, looks like many reasons why too, not just one.
Phone I use is more than 10 years old, hopefully it will never let the 5g get me.
