You are correct about the logical thought. Guaranteed these people were groomed in school by "Whole Language," where rules, grammar, and spelling were "thrown out" and credit was given for "tell me how you feel" questions. This was the 90s!!!

Yeah I graduated high school in 2000 and had never seen a question like that.
My children were in school in the nineties, and "whole language" was a thing starting around third grade. I knew it was crap then and taught them the right way. Maybe depends on what part of the country you were in. We lived in the Midwest at the time, and it definitely occurred in our schools.
What the left really wants is for children to start 'identifying' as adults, so they can then decriminalise fucking them.

Thought 1: After high school, every student should go on to learn a trade they can support themselves with. Once they have that completed, if they still want to go to college, they should be able to go and pay for it themselves with the earnings from their trade. Go part time to college and pay as you go, or work a couple years and save the funds, then go full time. Your choice.
Thought 2: Universities today are mostly not learning centers, they are propaganda centers. The fastest way to get rid of them is to cut ALL federal student aid. Period. 99% of students couldn't afford to go to college as a result. You wouldn't have to waste time arguing with Congress or the state legislatures about the merits of closing universities, you just cut them off at the knees by cutting off the $$.

She wants the process to become a legal citizen to be easier and less expensive, a firm background check, understanding and speaking English and agreeing to our laws and stuff. If early education was worth anything, there wouldn't be any issues with students understanding the ramifications of financial decisions. The entire education system needs to be revamped, or destroyed.
We should get rid of student loans entirely. If you can’t afford the amount up front, don’t go. It was good enough for the founders. No reason it wouldn’t work for us.
More people could afford if universities didn't charge so much. Tuition increases outpace inflation by around 3 to 1. Cause of those increases? A: Student loans, and tax payer funded student aid, IMHO.
