Yup, these sheep are fully conditioned, unfortunately my parents and siblings fall into this group. Every time I've got to listen to what a crook Trump is I ask them for evidence; they have no response. We are now on our sixth year of this spell that cannot be broken.
Thats funny … I have the same shit in my family. I got 3 uncles in their mid-late 60s that short-circuit when u ask for ONE thing he has done that is Illegal that is provable. 100% response is “IF YOU STILL DONT GET IT … YOU NEVER WILL!!!”

Had some good old friends over a while back and usually we don't get into politics but they said something and I started asking around, and all that happened is that they a) brick wall on any kind of facts/sauce b) keep talking about how terrible trump is. Luckily I was able to point out to them that 'you guys think you're liberals but look at yourselves you live conservative lives - you go to work, pay your bills, love your kids, etc. - so have you considered the possibility that you're actually conservatives?' If you stay away from the Trump issue (which is their conditioned hypnotic trigger) then you can actually make some headway on specific issues. But for real, people are brainwashed. One upside, they did admit that Joe has dementia and Kamala is a witch, so we were on the same side there...

I've started to tell these type of people that when the fake MSM starts building someone up, then look at who they are trying to tear down.
If they are propping someone up, this is the person one must be weary of. It has become so predictable now.
Ask if they ever try and tear a democrat down like they do with POTUS Trump or other MAGA R's.
Keep pointing out how fake the MSM is and how we don't get "news" any more, but just propaganda and I do include supposed "conservative" news stations or people in this example...not just people on the Left.
It gets them to stop and think about what I've said, though they may not admit it.
I tend to react by praising people who go on about criminal drumpf.
Random examples: How wonderful to find someone who cares about politicians who commit CRIMES!!! Then I let my praise set in and their good feels become real. Its like making sure the fish took the bait hook before tugging on the line.
Then I move on to PRETENDING that they already are who I want them to be. Also I' may talk about who THEY are as if they're some other person I'm joking about that they join with me in gently giggling about. This distances them from themselves.
Example? We care about CRIMES committed by rich and powerful people. I love people who are fair and who care. But can you believe that they're actually people who don't really care about the crimes? They just care about hurting others and use a crime as an excuse to be mean.

Btw, people have been pavlov dog trained to be triggered into a TDS brain shut down by cue words like Trump. Consequently, I avoid triggering cue words and try to find non triggering alternatives. Former president. Previous president. Previous administration. Or Ill use a pejorative, endearingly. Personally, I love Drumpf and say it with great love. Transforming their hate word into a cute nickname can help create a bridge.
Perhaps get a book on persuasion basics. "How to Win, Bigly" by Scott Adams, covers basic techniques using examples of what Trumps done. Bte, he considers Trump one of the greatest persuaders of all time. Scott helped me understand the importance of the pacing technique. Most people who try and fail to reach others, skip pacig. Well, I see a lot of people (in writing, anyway) telling the left to Wake up! But I don't know how well it's working. Mostly, it's said with animus, so perhaps a gentler, kinder tone when speaking those words would work .
