The Dems have simply become the poster boys. The Bush Family was possibly the most evil, satanic dynasty ever to hold the office. (although it's really steep competition).

I believe the reason for that is for cases when there are major birth defects, like parts of the brain not being developed. People can't just change their mind and abort a fully gestated baby.
