If it can't be backed up from God's Word, it shouldn't be trusted. You will find some truly wacky beliefs regarding Christian Faith around here. You'll also find people who are genuine and follow Christ.
I warn you to err on the side of caution as a seemingly new Christian. Christ and God's Word comes first. I repeat: If it can't be readily backed up from God's Word, do not listen to them. My goal isn't to divide you, this group, or anyone from Christ. I'm just stressing caution with your new faith, and to remind/encourage you to only focus on what matters (Christ).

Well, I study to show myself approved into God, a workman who needed not to be ashamed. Rightly dividing the Word of Truth.
The Word of God is quick and powerful. Sharper than any two edged sword. Dividing asunder soul from spirit and bone from marrow.
It is the discerner of rhe thoughts and intents of man's heart.
