Remember, remember!
The fifth of November,
The Gunpowder treason and plot;
I know of no reason
Why the Gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot!
In this first installment of the Anon Comic Club, I invite every Anon of The Great Awakening community on an adventure through Detective Comics "V for Vendetta."
As quoted from the Amazon store page:
Set in a futurist totalitarian England, a country without freedom or faith, a mysterious man in a white porcelain mask strikes back against the oppressive overlords on behalf of the voiceless. Armed with only knives and his wits, V, as he’s called, aims to bring about change in this horrific new world. His only ally? A young woman named Evey Hammond. And she is in for much more than she ever bargained for…
A visionary graphic novel that defines sophisticated storytelling, this powerful tale detailing the loss and fight for individuality has become a cultural touchstone and an enduring allegory for current events. Master storytellers Alan Moore and David Lloyd are at the top of their craft in this terrifying portrait of totalitarianism and resistance.
Majic Eyes Qnly's Law of War Series 7 prompted the idea for this thread. His most recent series of decodes leans heavily into the comms present in Alan Moore's V comic.
The complete V for Vendetta comic series can be found by following this link.

The series is broken down into 10 installments. You can navigate through each of them using the drop down menu, or by changing the number in the provided URL.
I implore each Anon who has yet to read V for Vendetta to do so. The film is also quite brilliant, but the comic has many more layers of important narrative and comms that are pertinent to The Great Awakening, and to the decoding of Q posts, as Majic Eyes Qnly analyzes in his Series 7.
I’ve been saying for years that This movie was early comms for Q.
An evil government uses a rogue virus to justify becoming authoritarian in the year 2020 until a guy who goes by a single Letter hijacks the messaging system and wakes up the populace to the corruption and encourages them to fight back.
That’s not a coincidence dudes, we just live in a fish tank
I liked it as an update to 1984, especially with the nod to John Hurt as Chancellor. Hard to argue the allegory of the executions of all the malevolent actors to the potential forthcoming tribunals, vigilante justice aside. Edit: The film, that is
OMG just watched it and I am blown away.
No shit eh? I saw it a few years ago and was amazed I hadn’t heard of it previously.
Like an instruction book for the antagonists...not that 1984 hasn’t been used.
Though ‘Unintended Consequences’ by John Ross is the instruction book antidote. Banned in Canada and can be found free online.
I have the 6th edition of that book.
I’m jealous! My neighbor loaned it to me...to be returned under threat of bodily harm. I read it like a Bible.
It's uh........ pretty deep.
Ok I’m going to watch it thanks frens.
how'dya go?
awesome
Are we all Evey Hammond walking out of her captivity but finally realizing ot had to be this way?
After all the movie was about a vaccine.
From the film adaptation:

The "Make Britain Great Again" and the 17 houses raided in the first few pages caught my eye. Hmm.
EDIT: I am looking up reviews and there are pages of reviews on the Rotten Tomatoes audience review section from 2022. For a 2005 movie I thought that was interesting.
And if you read the picture on the 2nd page as "White Hat"

So cool! Thanks for the link. Is there a way to download this?
NM I just bought it.
Hopefully one day I can convince you all to watch all 5 seasons of Symphogear. It may look like magical girl power rangers who sing a lot but it's bursting at the seams with breadcrumbs for research as well as profound existential metaphors. It is also incredibly emotional, beautiful and absolutely pure. Probably the most important anime I've ever watched and I hate that it's dismissed as absurdity or yuri (lesbian) bait.
November 5, 2022 will be exactly 666 days since Trump was banned on Twitter.
I can’t believe I never saw V for Vendetta before. Majic Eyes Q decodes left me in awe.
upcoming delta for britpedes.
The female Dr. that V kills with the Red diary = Hunter bidens laptop
I'm pretty sure Guy Fawkes represents anarchy tho
I have the original comic all 10 issues it along with The Watchmen as well...perfect all rated 9.6 to 9.8...and your link will be the cheapest way to read it outside of the DC reprint Manga style softcover. If I were to sell the set I would take 700 minimum..but it as well as The Watchmen will never be sold by me while I live.
I know the feeling. Some things are staying with me until the grave.
Some of my PSX JRPGs are going in the coffin with me.
Final Fantasy?!?!
Love it, but that's not the ones.
Valkyrie Profile, Xenogears, Suikoden 1&2 are the first ones that come to mind.
This generation, I'd throw Yakuza and Trails of Cold Steel in there too. 😆
I don't plan on dying anytime soon though.
But not Chrono Cross. Fuck Chrono Cross.
Stupid dooming nihilistic pile of shit plot...
Everyone went nuts for that game. I think its the intro music and the multiple characters.
Which is also weird, because Suikoden has more characters, better story, and (in my opinion) better music (it used the same soundfonts as Symphony of the Night.)
I prefer Chrono Trigger over Cross. Always have, always will. Perfect JRPG right there. Here's a tip - the DS version is cheaper and better. The anime cutscenes from the PSX version are there without the load times, and the screen is less cluttered because the menus use space on the other screen. I bought mine for $10 bucks, but those days are long gone.
But I digress...
The DS version is NOT better.
It goes out of its way to ensure that nihilistic "kill yourself to save the planet" Cross remains canon.
Yea.... but it's not. They can rewrite whatever just like FF7, but it's not going to stop me from enjoying the thing I liked originally before they fucked it up.
Same way I felt about VP2 and that new one coming out. When they want to kick it old school and go back to its roots, I'll be in.
I have too much fun being here with you guys and fighting the Cabal anyways, if Im being dead honest! 😆
You might sing a different tune once the symbolism in these old gems are revealed.
Learning Sports were fake? Didn't hit me hard. Same with dinosaurs. Same with nuclear bombs. NSYNC's "I want it that way" relating to JFK Jr's death? Sure.
What really got to me was the decode of Inspector Gadget and the decode of Lufia & the Fortress of Doom. That hit me. Hard.
Got some sauce?

Inspector Gadet: https://decodingsymbols.wordpress.com/2022/06/01/coded-childrens-cartoons/
The Inspector Gadget one is one of the darkest decodes I've come across.
What the fuck...I'm actually watching this movie right now.
The film at least, was a big commercial success. That is not a good sign for it having contained positive Comms. RIP Dr. Dolittle (1967). Clowns control the Media. They control the ratings, the numbers, the critics, the attention a film gets or doesn't get.
That does not mean that the film itself cannot contain ideas that could be embraced for positive reasons. The most notorious example of this is the 'red pill' vernacular from:
The film itself overall does not contain positive Comms. The directors are openly against the embrace of anons regarding the film as well.
As an aside, thank you for the resource! Comics are absolutely vehicles for Comms. One that comes to mind, Deadpool & Cable.
water = info

Cable = line of communication
Anything around 1991 is most likely involves
Nnnnno, Deadpool was just a Deathstroke ripoff at first.
As in "you swim the death stroke in the dead pool."
It wasn't until Joe Kelly and Fabian Nicieza took over that he became the fourth-wall-breaking goofball we know and love today.
Nice, this context helps a great deal. From the wiki on Deathstroke:
"[N]ot only was Marv's Deathstroke a villain, he was also kind of an asshole, which I thought was unique. He wasn't some misunderstood anarchist; he deliberately did skeevy things – most notably sleeping with Terra, a presumably underage girl – in his quest to exact revenge against his enemies. I read that and went, "Whoa". This was beyond The Joker, well beyond Lex Luthor. Marv created the first modern supervillain. He broke every rule by making Deathstroke three-dimensional and giving him internal conflicts while maintaining a level of skeeve we weren't used to seeing from a typical 2-dimensional bad guy."
Terminator typically invokes "I'll be back" threat Comms, but that Arnhold Swartz film was 1984.
Being Hunted circa 1991 is a big deal.
That Marvel "ripped him off" would indicate that he symbolized a Comm of a concerted Op that was going on at that moment in time.
That early 2004 start date for film development catches my eye as Comms worthy.
Are you a yogi? Because that's some serious fucking stretching.
