No, I only know the name Racine from the Q boards and because both the team announcers for the SF Giants and the Oakland A’s plus a producer Brother have all bragged about being from Racine, Wisconsin. Three brothers.
Pretty much.. yea. We live in the country and very few options are available anyway. But recently say in the last two months… can’t even watch tv at all. Used to be fine. Phone search’s for signal and can’t ever connect to it anymore either. And if you have TV on and 1 phone both are buffering
Never had a problem anywhere and I've lived in 8 different cities the past 25 years and travelled to probably 100 different cities in that time for business and can't recall consistent slow bandwidth anywhere in recent times.
You might consider getting a new router/modem and ensuring the settings are correct.
Do you have an unlimited plan? I read complaints elsewhere that it was slow for people who don't have unlimited plans in order to force you to upgrade.
Videos stutter on some sites, but not others, so it might be an overloaded source in some cases. If it's on all sites, do a speed test. If it's slower than what the provider promised, take them a screenshot of the test results and ask them to find the problem for you.
Do you have the router/modem from the cable company? those for the most part are garbage. Get your own (you can usually get a list of supported modems/routers from your ISP, internet service provider) We're in central Kentucky so we're limited to Spectrum and Windstream, gotta get on the waiting list for Starlink but that's not expected to come here till next year sometime.
So it’s not everywhere… just slow in rural areas perhaps. Xfinity not a provider option here. Ugh. Been watch old DVDs and VHS tapes just to have something on. Ugh.
So DSL. From my experience, while slower than other types of connections, DSL is usually pretty rock solid and doesn't fluctuate. I had DSL for 6 years and in that time, one outage that lasted 15mins. Never had fluctuating speeds even though the speeds were abysmal. Have you called your ISP to have them run remote diagnostics on the line and router/modem?
I have contacted them and they say everything is as it should be ?? We have changed nothing on our end either. If anything we have less tech running on WiFi now than before
Have you tested bandwidth on a hardline to the router? Or used it connected hardline for comparison of buffering and such? I'd also be curious to see if there's any substantial packet loss happening over the wifi.
You might want to check and see if there is anything else running that might be interfering. Your system may be throttled by your own apps. If it's a new computer, you might have all sorts of stuff running that you didn't know about.
The pervs in Racine are hogging all the bandwidth.
That’s why Racine was the first city to get 5G and is the model for 8K+5G AI.
The unusually high sex offender rate is another significant data point.
What elite billionaire pedophile family is closely connected with the school system?
Probably a question for u/TrustTheTruth - our resident Racine expert.

🤣🤣🤣
Do they do this just before they offer you super fast service?

Fellow WI Patriot here, I have spectrum, no issues?

Internet here in the People's Republic of NY remains quick and speedy.

I’ll try new router. Perhaps that will help
If you're using a cable provider's service, make sure you get hardware that's compatible with their network. Read about DOCSIS here:

Will do!
Hmm... WA fren here...
I just tested my XFinity (Comcast here) speeds over WiFi and I hit 260 Mbps down and 11.3 Mbps up.
So it’s not everywhere… just slow in rural areas perhaps. Xfinity not a provider option here. Ugh. Been watch old DVDs and VHS tapes just to have something on. Ugh.
What type of internet connection do you have....DSL, cable, satellite, fiber, mifi via cell network? And who is the provider?
Provider… TDS. Internet via phone line I believe

Same in Missouri.
I got starlink so speeds been good for me. In AZ.
Lucky… I’d love to have starlink! Looks like it will be available in my area in 2023. Something to look forward to
Ya it's nice had to wait a year and a half to get it.
Imma gonna wait it out and get service from them I guess
