What you did in this post is in no way bad. Your venting your emotions to family and allowing others to serve Christ by lifting u up. God is good. Dont feel u have to hold it in because ur bringing us down. We are all here for a reason. God bless
Because we attract what we resonate with. Literally.
Do whatever it takes to change your mood and think positively. Meditate, do breathing exercises, take a break from social media, go for a walk in nature, etc.
Its going to be a snowball effect...if you have a big negative snowball you have to switch up your routine to start a new one. If you are spiritual pray for assistance.
Thanks, truly. Good friend in and out of the hospital all week. Back today then an appointment to put my dog down, work slowed, bills rack up. It just seems like alot.
Yea, its crazy. So much loss all the time for the entire world. I lost a brother and sister 2020, my mother in law last year now all this. It truly does feel overwhelming. Both my siblings were just around 40. Crazy. Im sorry for your losses as well. Love ya too.
I'm sorry. I just know i couldn't push through, if it was for Jesus. I don't have any advice other than that. But i do want you to persevere.
And thank you.
Yea, what makes it worse is me and my wife got him just out of high-school. Been 12 wonderful years. We are both crushed. Gonna be hard loading him up in the car for one last ride.
Regardless, you be there for that dog and pet his head and look him in the eyes and reassure him with the best, most gentile smile you can muster. He’ll be waiting for you later on down the road.
What's crazy is, I know my life isn't all that bad in comparison to a ton of people, I just wish it didn't come in such an amount at once. Just piles up.
I know how that feels and it's overwhelming thinking we have to deal with it all at once. But, we don't. One thing at a time. One step. One breath. One tear. Grieve and remember the wonderful times with your pet. The rest will wait a little. God knows our limits - He does not expect you to bear all of those burdens at once. Take each to Him.
I am so sorry for your losses. Thank you for sharing. I am praying for all of us on this journey here. It helps me to know I am not the only one that gets down when the hard stuff keeps coming at me. I like knowing we can share the good times and the not so good times. Sometimes, the simplest statement heard/read can relieve the down feelings.
Because people that actually believe the universe is out to get them, will get just that. Negativity.
If you focus on the Lord, read the Bible every day, and go to a Bible, believing church, and potentially a women’s, or men’s Bible study, your life will change immensely.
I totally understand the negativity part, because I lived in it for so many years. But I finally released all of it to the Lord, I’ve gotten rid of the anger, bitterness, and resentment, and I’ve chosen to walk in the light of the Lord. It doesn’t mean that I have a perfect life, or that I don’t have bad days, because I still do. However; my life is remarkably different than it used to be. Ill because I gave my life back to the Lord and I am serving him. I highly my life is remarkably different than it used to be. I’ll because I gave my life back to the Lord and I am serving him. I highly recommend. God bless you and have a great night.
Chin up fren, God is with you and the enemy to God is a petulent child who is known to throw fits and be as petty as can be. YOU are not alone or abandoned!
Imo this Is also great advice. Prayer has caused the biggest change in my life. Next would be helping people. Even if it's just finding someone to pray for or lift up here. It causes a big change in heart. After that I would say bible reading.
So speaking to God
Service to God
Understanding and growing in God
I'm sure everyone will have different advice so all I can do is share my testimony and eyerights comment sparked it so I figured I would share. God bless. Love u
Recently posted about this. I struggle with prayer. I feel like I'm talking to a walk or my bed, I feel indescribable, like goofy, or corny. I do try. But it always seems like I'm doing it for the wrong reasons or at the wrong time. I don't know how else to put it. Ive just recently started getting into religion so it is hard for me to grasp any of it. I want it, but I'm a vulgar, bad person in my eyes without any way to change it. I often feel lost.
First off lost isnt bad because truly we cant do it ourselves. The fact u can admit your lost is huge.
So when I started praying I felt that exact same way. My advice is to build a habit. We have a daily prayer here on .win. 2pm and 8pm est prayer for 1 min. Basically at that time everyday, stop what your doing and just talk to God. Dont feel your doing it wrong. Share how your feeling as if he is there, because he is. Dont sugar coat things either. If your frustrated well share that with him. I personally pray outloud because it's easier to carry a thought. My mind wanders less. Set an alarm as well because it's easy to forget. If u do forget just pray for 1 min as soon as u remember. Also remember God knows you in a deeper way then we know ourselves. He loves us more than we can ever know. Through out the day just direct your thoughts to God. Say something makes u angry. In your head say God I love you I give u this anger or pain or whatever it is. Over time u will begin to direct all your thoughts to him. It's a process. Please keep at it. The goofy feeling will go away I promise. It's something new for you so the devil will play all kinds of tricks on u. Just keep at it. I will be praying for u. Prayer will eventually help u see Christ in a deeper more meaningful way. Your moments of pain will turn into moments of growth. I cant even fully put it into words. Just know what u feel is common. Love u fren. God wants to hear from u and he will grow u and change u and take all your pain and worry. Praise the Lord. Thank you Jesus. I am here if u ever need a fren to talk to and will be praying for u.
Thank you so much. Really. That's advice I needed, do you ever feel like you pray more when you need it most? That tends to be my case since i started, it makes me feel greedy or makes me feel like God thinks "oh, you are here now that you need me, but not in your everyday life" idk, i will try and do better.
This is where I started with my prayer life. I felt guilty about bringing all my trouble to God, but I realized that the guilt came from me. After that, it was much easier to ask for help through hard times. And eventually I started celebrating the good times with Him as well. God will meet you wherever you are. Start there.
Fren God loves you more than u can ever know. He knows everything about u. He still loves u. His grace is sufficient. We are made strong in our weakness because he becomes our strength. Keep working on praying when times are rough and good. That's why I suggested a daily time. Regardless of how ur feeling give him 1 min a day. It will grow. U are human in a fallen world. God knows all this. Yet he doesn't judge us by our sin rather through his grace we are saved. Dont make it about u because truly I am just as corrupted and lost as u. Even though I pray more based of what u have said. U have a seeking heart. Alot of your own inner darkness comes out when u turn to him. Just keep turning to him. I will say this again. God loves you more than u can ever know.
Try finding a verse in the Bible you like. Or search online for prayers in whichever area you need to focus on. Read the verse over and over, meditate on it. Feel the words. That’s what I do because otherwise it just seems like awkward “poor me, please help” but there are far more powerful prayers that have more meaning and value than what I can put together. I’m Catholic and pray the Holy Rosary, as well. I’m telling you- it helps. Getting out in nature or having solitude can help you talk to God a bit better than when you’re in your car or bedroom. Just my opinion.
But I hear you. It does seem like terrible things do hit all at once, overwhelming you like a wave. It seems that way. I think part of it is assuming everything is a catastrophe. It starts feeling that way. But usually there is a lesson to be learned with every “bad thing” that happens. I’m not talking about when you lose a loved one but many of our problems are our own doing or the result of something that we could have done differently but ultimately, if we’re smart- we can look back and learn. What could you have done differently? Who was impacted? Were we a jerk to others? Did we not do preventative maintenance? Many questions to be answered with reflection. Start asking questions. That’s kind of a part of prayer. Reflection.
But I think also people tend to have cyclical physical responses to bad things when they happen in rapid succession. So for example- you’ve been slammed with stuff. The car breaks, the AC breaks, work sucks, you have conflict with someone, your dog gets sick, family discord, the fence falls down.. I mean, on and on and on and over time, you start reacting physically. That adrenaline dump happens. The fight or flight reflex kicks in with the slightest provocation. You’re ready for bad news. You expect it and then you feel it right away. Your stomach hurts. Rapid, shallow breathing. Is this happening to you?
That’s when you need to learn some coping skills. Some relaxation techniques. Some breathing techniques. I can send some tips. Learn to pray and meditate before reacting. Wait to find the messages.. wait to hear HIS messages because there are always messages. The sun always comes up the next morning. I promise that whatever it is, it won’t feel the same after a night’s sleep and some time to calm down. Let God guide you through the night. I’ve also learned that we can handle anything. We can. You’re so much stronger than you give yourself credit for and you’ll be stronger once you learn that every problem has a resolution- they don’t last forever and God is there for you and won’t abandon you.
Learning to have patience and faith is a process, though. You learn about how things work, how to grow personally, how not to act like an asshole with others. How to control temper. How to have empathy. You’re not going to break. Leaning on others when you need it, asking for help (like here) is good. Don’t be afraid to call a crisis line. Talking usually helps diffuse the situation more than anything else. Being able to vent. Lastly- a lot of people are starting to use Propranolol for anxiety and PTSD. It’s a beta blocker and stops that physical reaction you may have when facing a stressor. It can help a lot without being addictive or causing side effects. Something to think about. Hang in there. I’m sorry this is long but it deserves the time.
Sorry my last posts have been negative, I try not to drag anyone down with me, I hope everything gets better or is going good for all of you!

That's true. Will definitely try it.

Chin up, eyes front.
Thanks, truly. Good friend in and out of the hospital all week. Back today then an appointment to put my dog down, work slowed, bills rack up. It just seems like alot.
My dad passed in 2020 then we had three family pets put down. Life kicks square in the teeth, and when it does chew it fucking foot off and persevere!
Love you fren! You will get through it.

Thank you, it always gets a bit easier with time for sure!
This is a tough one. Sorry man.
Yea, what makes it worse is me and my wife got him just out of high-school. Been 12 wonderful years. We are both crushed. Gonna be hard loading him up in the car for one last ride.
We found a vet that comes to the house to do it. If you can do that, it is so much better for your dog.
Thats a great idea. He would love that. Was it way more expensive?
Regardless, you be there for that dog and pet his head and look him in the eyes and reassure him with the best, most gentile smile you can muster. He’ll be waiting for you later on down the road.
I definitely will. Thank you.
I did that, Yes, it was expensive ($300) but so worth it not to drag a suffering dog off to a waiting room she knew and feared.
Probably a little bit.
It IS a lot. But each of us is needed in the fight and we cannot give up. YOU are needed.
Thank you
That doesn't seem like a lot....that IS a lot.
This too shall pass.
What's crazy is, I know my life isn't all that bad in comparison to a ton of people, I just wish it didn't come in such an amount at once. Just piles up.
For sure. Sucks, terribly, but you find out how strong you really are in your weakest moments. Dig deep.
I know how that feels and it's overwhelming thinking we have to deal with it all at once. But, we don't. One thing at a time. One step. One breath. One tear. This. Beautifully put.

One suggestion… You could start by changing your username. What are your project is what you get.
That's not "the universe" that's satan
Yup. Only way to break this pattern is faith in Jesus Christ.
God bless you fren!
You are right.
Chin up fren, God is with you and the enemy to God is a petulent child who is known to throw fits and be as petty as can be. YOU are not alone or abandoned!
