Apparently these news outlets find nothing wrong with Democrats conspiring with Twitter to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story, which would have revealed the mind-boggling corruption of the entire Biden crime family, right before the 2020 Presidential Election.

However, it is true that many do not understand the first amendment. Social media companies, be it twitter, truth social, tik toc... whatever, the first amendment has nothing to do with their practices.
Those are private enterprises, no matter how scummy and corrupt they might be, they're free to limit speech however they want. The first amendment is about the GOVERNMENT limiting free speech.
It is why we can protest openly, and call Biden a criminal who should be charged with treason and the government can do nothing about it but stew...
However... if we did the same thing in Russia or China, we'd get locked up in an instant.
Yes the feds involved could be charged with 1st amendment violations but the private actors would have to be charged with something else like conspiracy to defraud or Rico or something else because it won’t stick in courts unfortunately.
