He was visiting his daughter and is currently in a hospital and is still unresponsive. He is a Senior Citizen.
I doubt he was vaxxed as he and his wife both refused to wear masks in our church during COVID even though we had a state mandate for them here in NC during that time. But I cannot be certain about it.
I just got a prayer chain request from my church about him and hope that he survives.
His last text to me was about the upcoming SCOTUS Moore Vs Harper trial in Jan.
Adding him to my prayer list. The mother of a dear friend is entering hospice care today.... congestive heart failure after a long struggle with diabetes. So very sad and just hard at this time of year!
Sad world. Hope he has family by his side as hospitals do not always have competent, adequate staff. Not being disparaging, simply saying wise nurses are not always there like they used to be as mandates caused them to be replaced. Prayers to your friend.

I feel for you. I lost a wonderful older friend today. He took the jab and a few weeks ago suffered a blood clot in his arm. It puffed up like the Pillsbury doughboy. Now he gets to go rest beside his wife and meet our Lord. Sad day, but a great journey for him to begin. I hope your friend gets well very soon. Prayers will be sent his way.
