It's all just noise. In battle it's probably tough to stay focused when you have bombs dropping around you. Eventually you get used to it but every once in a while you'll probably be jolted awake by something big, only to realize it wasn't an immediate threat to the situation.
It's tiresome to keep saying "have faith" but when you think about our relationship with God, that's literally all you can have. Everything else is out of your control.
