Google was founded by the C_A. "Don't be evil" was a straight up lie from the beginning. At some point the lie became so obvious they just got rid of it.
In my opinion, they should have saved some money and just crossed out the word "don't" instead of replacing the whole sign.
Google is a perfect reverse-barometer.
If Google bans it... then it's TRUE. If Google won't allow it to be read or discussed... then you should find it using other sources and share the info with friends and family.
Same thing with "fact checkers." If Snopes says it's false, then it's probably true.

Who uses Google anymore? DuckDuckGo has it.
Ddg is compromised as of 2020. It does still give better results than Google, which is only good for shopping.
I use it too still as alternatives are weak, but I am aware it is captured.
Ddg seems to go in waves. I dropped them a few weeks ago as they'd gotten really bad, the worst I'd seen them. They're still good for non-political/cultural/societal matters. I'll check back periodically to see if they've reined in any of their commie censors. They might be somehow tied to financing of some sort - i.e. if they get a large DS infusion they don't have to worry about losing conservative users whereas if the DS coffers are too drained to prop them up sufficiently, they have to behave more like fair humans. Just a guess. I could be out in left field about this, too.

I deleted my facebook account a few years ago. Havent missed it at all. Remember, on a website that relies on user-generated content, you the user are the content producer, and you will continue to be a content producer if you leave facebook, but facebook cant easily replace the content you produce.
