Jesus is the very best example of what a human should be in terms of a soul with good polarity. He served as the example for the rest of us, teaching us the fastest way home.
Agree! He was a great example and told us that we could do the things that he did, if we have the faith. Our consciousness is an individualized part of the consciousness of God, which means that we have access to a power and knowledge that is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent....if we believe that we do.
We were in Sunday school class and the teacher said “does anyone of us think we can stop the river down the road, as Elijah did?
I said “we’re gonna be down there all day”, lol. Because I know it’s possible. I know through God it can happen if He allows it. Do we have enough faith to believe, is the question. That’s why I said we’re gonna be down there all day. I felt that yes, we can stop that river today, and cross. Would it have happened? Well if I question that, it already won’t. So it’s falls to each one of us. That is some kind of faith right there.
You know Peter jumped out of boat. Yes, he lost focus, and started to sink. And he cried “Lord, save me!” And Jesus did. Jesus then said “ye of little faith”….and that was Peter. What does it say about the other apostles in the boat who never tried? We all have sinned, we all fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), but the try is everything. In this world, I want to be like Peter. I want to jump out of the boat in the storm. Because I have faith in Jesus. I have faith in God’s Word. I know the try may be difficult. But I’ll try none the less.
The problem is related to the concept of "The Curse of Knowledge." A LOT of Christians take a holier-than-thou attitude because they were raised in the religion and they forget that even then, it requires a conscious decision to accept Christ and all of the responsibility that entails. They act like their salvation was the end of the line... and the sad thing is, that behavior is a good example of someone who doesn't possess the Holy Spirit.
I prefer the oldest historical experience of being Christian. Orthodox still teach that Christ did NOT come to create a new religion. Christ came to end the need for religions. He offers a personal relationship and The Way of Life to everyone. Each persons relationship and journey is unique.
Unfortunately, after Rome fell, Christians in the West began turning Christianity into a religion. Many people in the West still believe the Christian religion is the oldest experience of being a Christian and are unaware that Christian =/= member of the Wests Christian religion
Well, Jesus instructed His disciples to spread the gospel and Paul was inspired by a vision of a blanket covering the world.
If people trying to share a message of hope and faith with you pisses you off, then it sounds likely that something within you (like all of us) is broken. Thankfully, that's exactly why Jesus performed His ministry. He didn't come for the healthy, he came for the sick (which we all are, in different ways.)
But you'd probably rather figure it out on your own, even if it is a recipe for being pissed off from time to time. Good luck with that!
They way they go about it is so disingenuous. The last time, I was at a bar and a guy wanted to talk. I was like okay, I like a good conversation. One thing led to another and he was looking to find any hole in my life, which was pretty great at the time, to insert Jesus.
Can't blame you for being annoyed by that. Sounds like that guy completely missed the verses about seeing a speck in someone else's eye while ignoring the stick in their own.
American members of various Christian religious sects turned me off from Christ because I conflated the Christian religionists with Christ.
Fortunately, I was given "The Orthodox Way" by Oxford scholar, Ware. My eyes began to open. My journey continued but with countless, fascinating guides.
As far as conservative content creators goes though, Razorfist seems to be the sane one in the room compared to others that still knee-jerk over fake news and psyops.
Good ol' throwing the baby out with the bath water
"Religionists act like idiots, and the cults are all full of dogmatic lunacy, therefore, religion is worthless"
I know because that was me between around 13 and 19 years of age
It would help if said religionists(at least the ones that are not completely retarded) realized Jesus' revelation is his life and how he lived it, and started living their lives accordingly, instead of just turning him into an idol to worship and use in their incantations... while still acting like complete idiots.
Which is totally fine since on Sunday they are all back at church to confess and put a few dollars in the donations jar.

Precisely. Many read the words of wisdom, but yet do not see the light, and neither can they shine upon ignorance with it.
I do love Jesus, come quickly please Lord. 🙏
Love this. Jesus does not disappoint.
AMEN Fren...
This.

Wonderful truth! 🙌🏼
Amen fren! 🙏🏻
People don't want to hear about Jesus, they want to hear Jesus.
He's the ONLY one I trust completely.
Ha! I like this. (and I'm an atheist) I do believe in Jesus; just not in the way Christians do.
And no, I don't want you to proselytize to me. That is what has pissed me off through the years; especially when approached in public.
I don't care what you claim you believe. I care only how you act.

Wonderful and true!!!
Interesting, I will have to use this the next time someone uses that excuse (religious people were mean etc.)
This is a good way to present the facts.
Thanks
