My wife and I were waited on by a racist black girl at the Backyard Burger today. We placed our order and when she told me how much, I counted the money out on the counter. She told me to take the money and place it in her hand. I asked her why thinking it might be some Covid bull crap but she said, I give you change, I put the change in your hand so put the money in my hand. Needless to say we didn’t eat at the backyard burger. I picked up my money and forgot my Christianity with a couple of choice words and left. I am experiencing more and more racism towards me as an old white person.
If a person wants to be treated like a human, I expect them to treat me like one. I don't take be "ordered" around very well.
Make sure the management and/ or higher ups know what is going on in their store.
