Did any of these infections actually affect your life?

I told my Grama at the beginning of 2020 that I had zero fear for this exact reason. They’ve been peddling fear over “something” every other year of my existence and nothing has happened. I was right this time too.
I had a nasty flu during the Obama administration.
Took some of the old formula Theraflu --- got better. The new Theraflu is crap ---- doesn't do anything.
Still remember this fear of Bird Flu and I was in HK. We went to aviary and little kids were like, "Hey, don't you know there is bird flu?"
LOL
😜
I wasn't flippant. I know they were concern.
I’m not a bird. No worries. I was traveling to China and HK a bunch during sars when they put up those thermometers at the customs checks. Expensive theater.
Yep. It was funny.
I was in HK at the same time on a business trip. That was the first time I ever ate pigeon. I actively sought it out, and had deep-fried, soup, and some dish with noodles. It was actually pretty good.
Good for you. Those are good food. Glad you were awake already at that time.
No, but Lyme disease and Bartonella did. Lyme is the hidden epidemic that the CDC has covered up for years. It is 4x more common than breast cancer, and gets about 1/3 of the funding as West Nile. Lyme is intentionally misdiagnosed as everything under the sun, including “autoimmune” disorders.
I was misdiagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis by 4 neurologists. I really have a 40 year old Lyme and Bartonella infection. After treating it, all my “MS” symptoms are gone. The neurologists say Lyme “mimics” MS and they don’t know what causes MS. Well how can two diseases have the same exact symptoms? There is plenty of evidence of borrelia found at autopsy in “MS” patients, but your neurologist will never tell you that. There are over 20 strains of Bartonella and the standard test looks for one.
I wonder if Ivermectin works on Lymes disease..
There are studies in Europe testing this out now. These studies actually started well before COVID.
I was not part of the study, but have found ivermectin to be beneficial for me.
Based on clinical diagnosis, Lyme had colonized in my cns. My Lyme blood test was positive as well, but would not indicate where in the body it is located. For that you need a clinical diagnosis.
I read a story a few years back about Kris Kristopherson. They had diagnosed him with Parkinsons, and he was treated for it for a few years. Then another doctor suspected Lyme and they changed treatments and he improved immediately.
Wow - did they not do an MRI to look for lesions on the brain? Seems like a very easy thing to rule out. That's actually how I found out about herniated discs in my neck. The MRI looking for MS found 2 really badly bulging discs that ended up having to be removed before they paralyzed me. MS is extremely common in my family with males on my mom's side.
Lyme will mimic these lesions.
The difference is that as Lyme is treated, these lesions will shrink/disappear. This is not the case with MS.
I got COVID but it only affected me for like three days. I would categorize it as just feeling "hella sick" in medical terms (not life threatening, basically like a bad case of the flu). But tbf it would've been much worse if I wasn't vacci- just kidding, I avoided the most dangerous one on this list (the vaccines).
I didn't read Time so no, no effect other than the people leading us down this poison path.
The only one that might have actually affected people around me was the 2009 "swine flu"/H1N1. Nearly half of all students at my school were out sick at the same time. I never got it, but I almost wished I had just so more students were absent so the school would close down for 3 days to clean the whole place. We never got snow days so this would have been the next best thing. Sadly it didn't happen.
The only one I really noticed was the 1976 flu. That's back before the internet, and I was actually watching some TV.
When you see the trajectory, it's as though people were s'posed to wear masks a long time ago. It was only in 2021 (aem juice rollout) they wheeled out the whitecoats looking serious, maybe they realized they needed experts visible on their cover for the first time to really inject the fear.
Infiltration - true, and noticeably so in healthcare. I have a close friend who worked in mid-range at hospital systems. The kind of people that were inserted into the upper administration of hospitals over the past few years are nothing short of nasty, sadistic individuals. Then again I’ve seen plenty of indifferent, unqualified and uncaring nurses for decades now. This is not to detract from the good, caring and competent nurses who went into the field to help people in need.
Functional medicine to replace the corrupted ‘healthcare’ industry can’t come fast enough.
2009 Swine flu did, 2 weeks bedridden and I quit smoking! One of the best things that has happened to me!
My best friend and his girlfriend had swine flu. I came over with subbs for dinner.
They interrupted my regularly programmed schedule for an important message 💩
Yes, the propaganda variant was a motherf@cker!
H1N1, my older brother and myself developed a pneumonia the doctors couldn't identify. He did not survive, I was told the ambulance turned the lights off halfway to the hospital when i was in it, resuscitated at the hospital, spent two weeks in an induced coma, woke up with amnesia and delusions, was seeing and hearing things which were not real (probably from whatever drugs i was on) a week later moved out of ICU once i passed psych eval and started remembering who I was on my own. hair fell out.. three weeks of physical therapy. one week at home then back to work with restrictions. The entire time I was in the hospital my mother forbid anyone to talk about my brother, I had assumed he was at the VA Hospital instead. I didn't find out that he was dead until I was in physical therapy. I would not have fought to live if I knew he was dead. that was about 10 years ago. I struggle with the loss of the most significant person in my life still.
Not directly, however thru the price gouging and others (coworkers, etc) related to said "viruses" then yes.
Yes. If I had subscribed to Time, I wouldn't have worried about toiIet paper in 2020.
The ebola one was what made me realize something was going on. You can't catch it if you you use PPE or avoid blood/fluids. Why would anyone be worried about it spreading in America? They were also worried about it going airborne, but that too makes zero sense because viruses specialize in a specific part of the body. Lung disease can go airborne. Ebola is a blood disease. It's go no relationship to the lungs and will never go airborne.
I believe it was H1N1 when I was working as a massage therapist. We would chat between appointments, and I recall another therapist being so freaked out over being exposed to H1N1, and asked if we should all consider wearing masks. We all shrugged and told her if she wanted to, fine, but none of us were even afraid. She never did. I bet she was super freaked out when covid hit (I wasn't working them, I quit my career to raise the kiddos and homeschool by then). I bet she is also still alive. Thanks time magazine for keeping us abreast on all the stupid things we "should" be afraid of.
I can smell it.
« TIME » is just an uninfomercial asswipe.
If epidemic's were anything near the issue they present them as they would be doing whatever they could to suppress news about them to keep the earnings flowing...
