I feel sad for these people. Their entire identity is built around their sexual orientation or skin color and that's the depth of their entire personality too at that. Very succinct. When I was going through inferility, I made it a part of my personality. It was more than a descriptor. I was an infertile. I was consumed by the perceived difference and anger of wanting what others had.
Since then, and it has been nearly a decade, I have seen how I let my mental health become consumed by my plight to have a child.
