Richard was in CA for an event and posted where he was going for dinner that night, and to come join him. My wife and I went, along with a dozen other people, and ended up staying and talking for hours.
What you mentioned as “being messed with by authority” is a massive understatement. At that time he couldn’t return to DC due to a warrant for his arrest on a fabricated charge. Now “Nancy Drew” is the woman who goes around DC taking video and showing what’s actually happening there.
