Julian Assange is a political prisoner, and has been denied his rights to a fair and speedy trial. That's for sure.
But I strongly doubt he's in the know on current events.
Kim Dotcom is trolling us. He has been for years.
Look at the timeline of Assange's past 13 years.
At no point in this story does Assange have unfettered access to his company or the secrets they hold. He was under constant surveillance for at least 10 years if not longer. He's been in a maximum security prison since 2019, and before that he was hiding out in the Ecuadorian embassy for 7 years.
The idea that he knows the real details behind the Ukraine war, COVID-19, and the Nordstream pipeline is absurd. I sincerely doubt way back in 2010 he had access to a document that said, "Russia engages in conflict with Ukraine in 2022, COVID comes out in 2019, and the Nordstream pipeline gets attacked in 2022.” And I sincerely doubt anyone would have been able to pass him that information since his time in the Ecuadorian embassy, and certainly not while he was imprisoned.
He may have found some deep secrets from 2010, and they may still be relevant today. But I can't believe he knows the details of current events as implied by Kim Dotcom.
I'd guess is that his thinking would be along the lines of, Assange has been out of the loop for all this time so what would he know about it?
I can see the validity of that argument, but this has been going on for many years in Ukraine so he could have knowledge from before.

Obviously, he's saying that IF Assange was loose and IF Assange was an unfettered actor and was active, then he'd expose that crap that's happening now.
He's not suggesting that Assange knows all this stuff now. He's saying that Assange has been held inactive because IF he was active, you know what he'd be doing.

I can give you one reason why he is still behind bars, and his name is Mike Pompeo. Once a spook, always a spook. Trump was going to pardon Julian, but Pompeo nixed it. Another mistake Trump made listening to swamp creatures. If Assange is extradited to the US, he won't survive. He will be quickly Epsteined.

I don't have a problem admitting when I am wrong. But in this case, I don't believe that I am. The US would love nothing better than to get Julian on one of their special medical rendition flights over international waters. Let's see... we are still not sure what happened to McAfee - did he or did he not disappear being extradited back to the US? He is either holding up on a beach somewhere laughing his ass off, or he is deep six. The bottom line is that he is not in view any longer and his so called dead man's switch.... well.... we are still waiting for that to manifest.
Pompeo is still a spook and he was the main monkey wrench for Trump not pardoning Assange which many thought was in the bag. Julian is not in good health and there are powers behind the scenes desperately trying to get him extradited. Why? To save him? I don't think so.

I've realized it's important at this juncture to distinguish between actors within nations. Thinking "America is going this" "China is doing that" etc, seems inappropriate, when there are different factions within each nation (one believes), working either to support the Cabal or destroy the cabal.
E.g. Did "America" blow up the Nordstream Pipelines?
