"I 100% wanna know what bs they had to say about your clothes too lol" The post Third grade teacher in Austin, Texas gets reprimanded for teaching students about their ‘legal and constitutional rights’: ‘I’m concerned that they find that concerning’ appear...
Totally misleading headline, from what I gather she probably teaching them their rights are about abortions and sex changes
Yep. Read the article. She's an activist masquerading as a teacher. The only "rights" she's concerned about teaching are the ones Leftards make up.
I came here to say, “This could go either way.” Headline left it all hanging
I took one look at her and figured it was something like that.
"Sophie, who is “queer until proven straight,” is outspoken about human rights on her social media platforms. She covers a plethora of current events, including the Queer Capitol March and Texas legislation."
That says it all.
The story made Yahoo! so reader beware
Read:
Sophie, who is “queer until proven straight,” is outspoken about human rights on her social media platforms. She covers a plethora of current events, including the Queer Capitol March and Texas legislation.
“I have no other choice but to be political. life is depending on it,” reads her Instagram bio. “unwilling to die for the dow. abortion advocate.”
It's too bad her parents didn't believe in abortion.
And she has her instagram account set to private, but she's also on tiktok. You can watch what she says about this in another link from "In The Know" from yahoo...

When a school is concerned that you're teaching your students what their rights are, that's when you know you've really failed as a society.
What good are our teachers if they're not teaching our kids the facts?
Austin is the toilet bowl of Texas, basically CA 2.0. Not surprised in the least. At this point the city is like an invasive cancer on the state, and honestly shouldn't even count as part of Texas.
OP posted an extremely misleading article. Yahoo is painting her favorably and editorializing the article's title to falsely make her sound based. She's a groomer.
Texas
State Nickname: Lone Star State
State Motto: "Friendship"
State Bird: Mockingbird
State Flower: Bluebonnet
State Song: "Texas, Our Texas"
State Bunghole: Austin
Sounds like the Philadelphia of the Southwest.
Misleading Headline... clickbaity.
Why do you think schools no longer teach Civics? As far as the educators are concerned, why would they choose to train children of their rights and remedies?
Whats concerning is calling constitutional rights.
Exactly. It seems to often be forgotten that the Constitution, particularly the Bill of Rights, doesn't give us any rights. We're endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights. It restricts the Federal Government from infringing upon them.
It really depends on the rights she is teaching. The article says she is gender queer until proven straight. So is she teaching about gay sex, their right to not listen to authority in the classroom, their right to start transitioning genderswithout parental knowledge/notification, the right to abortion, etc.? What she is teaching matters. She, by her appearance, looks like a Leftist, Jewish activist. So if she is pushing the above, her superiors most definitely should challenge and reprimand her. No teacher, doctor, nurse should be sharing their beliefs or personal life with students or patients. There is no place for psharing your personal life within these settings. She appears to be yet another smug activist. It is time to fire these people when they start sharing their opinions.
Why are kids still in government indoctrination daycare camps?
Why is this pinned FFS?
I once asked my kids if they learned Civics in school. They said its now called Social Studies.
I'm more interested in the questions beneath the concern. She's a liberal activist. They're asking what prompted this and what the nature of the lesson is. She's saying "constitutional rights." But she's an abortion advocate. Does she think that's a constitutional right? I'd be curious what she's doing too.
So she's one of the few good teachers left in the vile world that is the public school system? Color me unsurprised.
Well... not exactly:
Sophie, who is “queer until proven straight,” is outspoken about human rights on her social media platforms. She covers a plethora of current events, including the Queer Capitol March and Texas legislation.
“I have no other choice but to be political. life is depending on it,” reads her Instagram bio. “unwilling to die for the dow. abortion advocate.”
No, she's a liberal groomer.
