Take it a step further and reject all perversion for any age. Why have Drag Shows at all????? Unless it’s the type that feature two 3000 horse power vehicles screaming down 1/4 mile raceway.
It’s a meet up for “like minded” people if you know what I mean….. bring your available kids.
Might be an opportunity for us to consider the role of alcohol in our lives. Is the average brewery/distillery in your region a net benefit or is it corrupting and exploiting your neighbors?
Is it putting in more than it takes out?
You have to vet them. A lot of craft breweries are owned by shitlibs. I have plenty of customers come to my parents though because they know it’s not run by shitlibs. All my mug club members are conservative/libertarian minded. We are a family friendly brew pub and do our best to support the community.
But yeah a lot of woke people in my industry. I only drink beer from conservative or politically neutral breweries. Boycott the woke breweries but there are plenty of brewpubs that are a gathering place for the community. For example our place hosts Brews and Bible, Bible study on Wednesday nights which is pretty popular.
Thank you fren for sharing your perspective. My view does get skewed just from personal experience.

You got a list of beers you suggest? My husband drinks a lot beer and his daily, after work, easy drink is now Old Style. Used to be Busch lite. (We’re rural Midwest so if you’re from here you’d get it) Then he drinks craft beers on the weekend. I like to drink Trappist monk beer on Sundays myself. Feels good knowing holy men brewed what I’m drinking.
Yes, this is the real answer, and it's damning that this is the first whisper I've seen of it.
I made the choice to completely stop drinking before the birth of my first daughter & I don't regret it, don't miss it in the least.
I'd make the argument that, while an occasional beer, wine, cocktail is of course fine, it really seems to me that the average American drinks WAY TF too much.
If you cut your drinking even by half & put that instead into making more money, local political activism, or even going to the gym or for a walk; how much better off would your life be?

What's scary is how much the really heavy drinkers put down.
You have the casuals going in from time to time and getting wasted on special occasions, but observing the "regulars" really shifted my perspective.

This honestly sounds like a bit of a nothing-burger.
It sounds like Yuengling has been a sponsor for years of whatever's the parent organization that put on this drag show, (some art group) and said organization did this drag queen BS without notifying / getting approval from any of their sponsors. Of course.
The article I read made it sound like it would be if some organization you give money to unilaterally & spontaneously decided to go woke or sponsor some woke tranny garbage. Of course they're not going to notify sponsors, and they sure as fuck aren't going to ask permission.
They know if they even try to get any sort of advanced notice, people will shoot it down immediately.

Agreed. I live in PA, there are a lot of art non-profits out here. The one in question is in Bethlehem and they put on tons of events and concerts. Yuengling has probably sponsored them for years and got blindsided by the drag queen show.
I also think Yuengling should get credit for how they handled it. Reading between the lines, it sounds like they called the venue, told them in no uncertain terms their sponsorship would end unless they did something to fix it. And the venue did by making it 18+.
Central PA is about as based as you can get. The brewery is family owned and has for years tried to stay out of the woke garbage mess. The Yuengling family has supported Trump since the very beginning and even pissed off some folks in Philly for doing so.
Yuengling can try to make the argument they did not know what type of “acts” would “perform” at Musikfest, but they have sponsored the Philadelphia Pride event multiple times. They absolutely knew what they were sponsoring.
Well that changes things & that is no good....
Have a neighbor who met the president of Yuengling while in college. Said the guy came into the bar on a Saturday night he and his buddies were at, saw they were drinking Yuengling, and bought their beers for the rest of the evening.
That's nice... I guess I will drink it till I find a beer called "Groomers Into Chippers Lager"

Beer might be worse for you than soda pop is. At least soda pop doesn't hinder your cognitive functions or lower your T with hops.
“Winning” would be the complete elimination of these freaks.
