One solution might be for the people to demand an extra showing. They paid to see the movie, expect standard comfort conditions. Dont go for refund, go for showing it AGAIN for those who couldnt see it. And should the cause be something like 'an electric burning smell' call the fire department, other departments to shut the theater down until safety measures are met.
Make it so it costs that theater $ for their tricks.
In Gillette Wy this week. Watched movie Sunday night. Sound was terrible. Hard to hear. Theater was full and we were all very quiet trying to hear. My daughter didn’t even get to hear “God’s children are not for sale”. Satan is hard at work.
our trip to Sound of Freedom was sold out... the only seats left were right up front of the screen. we were at the lowest point of the theater and it was blazing hot in that room... i cannot imagine how hot it was up at the higher seating areas... the hallways and bathrooms were very cool....
I was almost top row of a completely full theater and it was very warm. I was perspiring and couldn’t wait to get home and take a shower. I haven’t been to a movie theater in at least four years, so I’m not sure if this is normal now, to save money on A/C, or if this was intentional to make people seeing this particular movie uncomfortable.
Generally, you have a CHOICE which theater you go to. You gave a theater money to attend a movie, they choose to turn of the AC, and make you uncomfortable.
I would choose to never attend that theater again - and then the theater owner will go bankrupt a few months later, and stand there all slack jawed, in stunned silence and wonder why the theater that had been running in his family for decades, suddenly failed.
