I gave them feedback that I was a minority and underserved in the banking community and that their policy was discriminatory. lol
I like this! We don't buy ammo from there but now we have a reason to throw at them lol
Oh yes! walk in with a nice wad of cash and ask for the manager. Wave the cash in his face and plan to walk out.
lol
Great Idea!
I would never buy my ammo from walmart...only privately owned small business types..plenty of them in my rural neck of the woods.
As do I. Just walked through their "gun" section and saw this.
Don't get me wrong, I think it's good to get the word out but I'm just wondering if it's about the sale of ammo or more about the handling of cash, itself. At our Walmart there is a register in the garden dept that also says No Cash. I haven't checked the sporting goods department but I will the next time I go.
And if they allowed the purchase of guns and ammo at any other register I'd agree...you can buy all the garden stuff at a "cash" register inside if you want. Can't take the guns and ammo there.
Hmm. Someone needs to call them out. If they give you that no cash at this register bullshit, tell them to hold your hand and take you up front to the registers that take cash. Home Depot does it with every power tool in the store. They even do it with romex wire these days.
I saw something where in France, some restaurants were doing the only cared thing so groups of people were going in and having a big meal. When the check came, everyone only had cash. So if you want to get the money for the food and expensive wine we just ate and drank, well, here are your options. Accept cash (legal tender), or we walk. Changed things pretty quick.
This is not quite the same as the goods and services haven't been consumed, but something along g the lines of making it an extreme pain in the ass for the merchant goes a long way.
That said, it is important to raise a stink, because these are tests to see how much we will put up with; this is a long article but one thing that stood out to me was this passage:
(The photo of Mercola's tweet is that the bank shut down his business bank accounts along with the accounts of his CEO, CFO, AND their families - spouse and children. They refused to provide any reason for doing so and the oldest account had been active for 18 years.)

I have loathed Chase for years. I eagerly await the demise of those MFs...
Excellent point, fren!
Good thing I don't purchase ammo from Walmart.
Just for giggles and kicks, go in with cash and annoy the manager. Even if it's a tiny purchase. Maybe even better if it's a tiny purchase!
lol
Bearing in mind I would never purchase ammo from Walmart in the first place, they are trying to get us used to their dictates.
No, they're making a list to give BATF.
I would ever get used to the way a dick tastes.
Begun? We’re into this nonsense for years.
True!!
Don't buy their ammo then. Plenty of small shops that love saving on credit card transaction fees.
They need the Kmart treatment.
In the sense that they need to have their CEO loot the company to the point where they get delisted, I very much agree with this.
If you're a q follower, or just a red blooded American, you should not be buying as much as a pack of gum from Walmart. I don't care if you have to drive an hour further, or go without; find another store. They are woke, anti-American, and vaxxtorted their employees into the death 💉. In exchange for shortening their lifespan, the employees got a $50 prepaid Visa. Treat them no differently than Target, Bud Light, Joe Biden. #scum
Never forget. Walmart destroyed small businesses all of the country. Unfortunately, we willingly helped them for a mere 1% price discount. Let's not be fooled again.
If you haven't learned to reload by now, you are falling behind.
Honestly, some, even here, are too scatter brained for reloading. Any experienced loader I know, loads alone, no distractions, not even a radio.
I know how and have the equipment.
Know a good source for primers?
Components are still really overpriced and a little harder to come by. Bulk purchases from online stores has been really good for me, especially when you find a good deal. Every once in a while, I find a fantastic price and I go all in to buy as much as I can.
Didn't even know Walmart sold ammo
Corporate America been trying to chip away at gun rights for decades, this began long ago and this is no major setback. If your local gun store started playing these games I would be a lot more concerned.
Put Walmart last on your list folks.
Their ammo will dry up, just like Bud Lite!
Good thing Walmart doesn’t sell my ammo 😂 All mine are green
Green is good. Global warming and all...
Yes. It really pierces the issue
Or it can simply be that they're trying to minimize bookkeeping and having to maintain a certain amount of cash in a till, less tills, less hours required to staff.
Also people today are unable to count proper change, most likely events end up giving a customer too much money back. That's why most grocery stores have automatic change dispensers.
Not to diminish the fact that they track our every move, but if you think going into an establishment and paying cash somehow allows you to circumvent the surveillance, your only fooling yourself.
I take your points, but since you can't purchase ammo or guns at any other register in the store (if you want to pay cash for your vegetables or blue jeans you can always go to the one that takes cash), I think it is on purpose, it is nefarious and is evil. I don't shop for ammo there anyway, poor selection and overpriced, but for those whose shopping options are limited, well, those options are just a little more limited now.
Irrefutable and you're extremely nice. Glad to have your cool head on my side.
Exactly. We should resist a No Cash policy EVERYWHERE. It is on the slippery slope bringing the end of freedom and choice. Be vocal about it, even if it's somewhere you don't shop.
Why would you even want to buy ammo at Walmart? It's all bottom-of-the-line garbage just like everything else they sell. They haven't sold hollow points, .357, or 12 gauge buckshot, or anything else useful for home defense for a long time.
I still don't get not being able to make change. If you can count money in the first place you can make change. Start with the number of the sale total and count up, coins first, to next dollar, then count up to whatever they gave you. My daughter CAN NOT grasp this. I even bought a fake cash drawer to try and teach her. Right over the head.
If I give payment to get an exact amount back - like a $5 bill, I usually have to tell them because they look at you like you're stupid. I was a hostess/cashier back in the day before we had computers. Old time register hit the button for 100's, 10's 1's etc. If I couldn't figure cash back I would have lost my job lol
It would be nice to see a lawsuit about this, maybe from ammo manufacturers.
I wonder if they'd take a gift credit card? One of those reusable AMEX's or something.
They usually don’t have a good selection anyway. I buy my ammo online and it ships straight to my door. Any caliber I want.
