A type of person that pulls the wings off flies is considered cruel and heartless. Being cruel to cats and dogs is thought to be the same to a higher degree. I witnessed a research doctor after a surgical experiment, who would without a second thought inject the killing agent into the dog..... killing the dog. He turned and walked away for the crew to clean up the mess and dispose of the dog. This event made me think about medical doctors...... It made me ask myself, do surgeons have the same mindset regarding people under the knife? Why wouldn't anyone consider the possibility that there are psychologically sick doctors? How many are there? Doctors have essentially power over life and death along with a good alibi.
I've had 4 best friends (dogs) become too old and we had to put them down. Never wanted to be there. In the old days, which was part of my growing up, the humane way was to shoot it..... You could do this back then. Vets make it easier, but experiencing the life and death of a pet is a valuable experience in life. I've wondered about vets used as end-of-life purposes. Is it right? That's why it may be best to keep this duty close to home instead of contracting it out to someone else. I'm always concerned about the purposeful obfuscation between animal and human life. When it is personal, there's no escaping it. You experience it. It's a necessary part of life. The false teaching that "we" are all animals is a deception for an impersonal end.

I thank God for helping me to do that for my dogs. I couldn't even watch. It was too difficult for me.
