I have good friends who moved to Canada from Johannesburg about 25+ years ago when we were kids. Great family. Great people. Legitimately some of the best people I know. This situation really strikes a chord with me. What is really amazing is that people in North America continue to take steps towards being a society that turns the same way in the end. Trump seems to be mostly focused on the US at the moment. Musk is talking about the country he was born and raised in. That might make a difference.
