Meh, I agree that we need to stop letting 80-somethings run our country in the ground. In most cases it's a bad idea, look at Pelosi, Biden, Mitch, Dianne, that other guy who's name i can't remember, they are decrepit and mentally gone and have no right to be squatting in important positions the way they are. Trump on the other hand, while getting up in age, clearly is healthy, and there will always be exceptions, but something needs to be done to prevent politicians who are suffering from severe cognitive decline from hanging on to their seats of power. And, if this country was stable, we wouldn't need to put people so old in power. Trump deserves to live a life of leisure at his age, and to not carry the weight of the world on his shoulders. What he is doing is a form of self sacrifice for all of us. So in a sense, yes he's too old, not because he can't do the job (we know he can) but that he shouldn't have to (we just have no choice right now.)
The problem is corruption. These people need to pass cognitive test to perform their duties. Either they are not taking them or they are getting fake results.
That doesn't mean everything Tucker says means he's secretly been anti-Trump this whole time. There's just too much magical thinking around here that somehow Trump is exempt from the standard risk profiles of octogenarians... cognitive, coronary, and so forth. What's the actual proof of that, though?

I haven't had to retest since I got mine at age 15 and I'm in my early 50s. However I am for retesting anyone who has more than 2 accidents in a year. When these old people start losing their reflexes most just keep driving but get bigger tank-like cars. My Grandfather did that. Seems like the worse they drive the bigger weapons they choose.
Personally I have never had an accident, although a deer jumped on top of my car once. I was driving on a back dirt road in VA during a snow storm at night (doing about 15-20 to keep from sliding in the ditches on both sides) and a deer jumped off the hill beside me right on the top, bounced off my hood, and kept going. Cost me almost $1k to fix the damage myself - I didn't want anything happening to make my insurance go up. I pulled a large fist-full of hair out of my crushed headlight assembly and still have it in a mug on my bookshelf. That was in 2007.
Note - Trump took a cognitive test while in the White House last time and aced it. He shouldn't have to do another one unless we see the same stupid behaviors we see with Biden (which I seriously doubt).

Not due to age. Annual road tests after an agreed on age would make the streets (and parking lots and sidewalks) much safer.
