Without researching it and just going on how I know the death cult operates, I am willing to bet that a few cases of this pop up in these exact same places in India in this very season, every single year. It is probably associated with a fruit coming into season bringing these bats into closer proximity to humans. I have seen a show or two that talks about this very virus years ago on Discovery or some similar channel.
