Things often get darkest before the dawn. I think President Trump knew that he couldn't remove the DS without burning it all down, so he's letting the Democrats do just that. He has it perfectly timed out so in the coming months there will be full economic collapse. For some of us, it will hurt, but our temporary suffering will be worth it when President Trump comes back in triumph and full power. No more Congress or Judicial activism to slow him down. Full power to exact revenge and built our nation into the greatest country the world has ever seen.
Why would Trump give him his peace plan, so that Bidan & Lensky can look good, no he will take care of business when he's the sitting President again. And they expect him to tell the world his plan publicly, it doesn't work that way.

Here's a realistic plan: Ukraine surrenders all 8 oblasts up to Kiev. Kiev & everything West of it becomes a neutral buffer zone with no military support or NATO prospect. Can be folded into EU (no one cares). Zelensky surrenders himself over to the Russians for international court proceedings.
I say realistic because I see no way that Russia plans on losing any of the 4 oblasts they currently occupy.
And Russia tried to take Kyiv on February 2022. It was a quick decapitation plan.
The very beginning of the war they sent a large convoy of forces invading through Belarus. The plan failed. The convoy stalled. By April, It was over. Russia pulled all its forces east
Zelensky has insisted on pre-conditions (Russia Begone!) that essentially preclude any peace negotiation. He wants his cake (a peace plan) and eating it, too (victory). As Col. MacGregor is always saying, the thinking in Washington D.C. (and Zelensky is merely a client) is irrational. One sign of irrationality is the attempt to hold contradictory principles or statements simultaneously.
