A few people said I should go to church to rizz up girls who aren't woke but to be fair there are a lot of liberal churches in my area. Like one of them literally has a rainbow flag at the door and did blm stuff when that was a thing.

We are the church.
The Biblical word is called out, like called out of this world.
We are called to follow Jesus Christ.
You can join the spiritual order of the 144,000, they just follow Jesus Christ.

Chick's dig the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
I'm starting to think the Russian Orthodox Church is the way to go.
Their aesthetic is pretty cool. I watch a YouTuber called Jonathan Pageau who's Orthodox and he explains things way better than most Catholics and Protestants do.
To give an Honest Answer, I don't do ""Church""....
I prefer to sit alone and read the NEW Testament, and mainly the parts where Jesus is asked questions and gives answers, or helps people and such....
IF I were to go back to ""Church"", I believe I would be the loud annoying one that always interrupts the Priest/Preacher/Whatever, and just starts asking questions about various subjects....
Most questions would be like mini-protests, but worded toward Jesus answers, so as to push the crowd toward Awakening, and not just being woke....
Be very choosey and picky when looking for a ""Church"", most of them, these days, are Govt Controlled, Govt Sermons, Romans 13 types, and that is a bad thing.....
A nondenominational Christian church will probably be most comfortable for you. I saw your other post. Don’t go to church looking for girls. You’ll creep them out. Go there to find Jesus and get involved first. The good girls will flock to you.
Well. According to modmail, the entire mod team full of dedicated satanists attend a secret synagogue, in the basement of a secret mosque, buried under the Great Dome of the Vatican
Thank you, truly, for being willing to endure such vitriol on behalf of this community.
I thought it was even further down than that....
Like Miles further down....
No, not there, further down, like Level 7 further down....
I attend an independent, fundamental Baptist church that preaches from the King James Bible. It's mantra is "Rooted in Christ" and the sermons are always Bible-centric - no opinion, political commentary or liberalism of any kind. The music is "old school" classic hymns that are sung heartily by the congregation. We have several talented pianists and the choir is awesome. The Pastor is friendly, relatable and unwavering in his focus on Jesus and the Word of God. We support many foreign missionaries and are actively soul-winning in our local community.
Good churches are hard to find but when you find one you work hard to keep it centered on Jesus and keep all the worldly influences from contaminating the church culture.
If you are looking for a church, here are the things that I think you should look for:
Roman Catholic
I am C of E, I have stopped going to church after Charlie Boys coronation.
He took the oath of allegiance behind a curtain accompanied by the Archbishop of Cantab, the Papal Nuncio, the Chief Rabbi, a senior Muslim cleric and a Buddhist priest. He wanted an inclusive ordination and it seems he got it, into the occult religion of Gaia were worship of self and nature is the norm.
The Anglican church is no more.
Cult of ""GAIA"", that shit show mockery of the Masonic Neo-Humanism, aka Trans-Humanism....
It sounds completely absurd, but they spin logic into the stupidest forms of idiocy that most people, those who have been ""Sophisticated"", aka Brain Washed, those folks, have a very hard time breaking the Spin and sophist Spells....
Most do not understand that GAIA, is just another name for PLANET, and really doesn't mean ""Mother"" at all....
We attend a Traditional Latin Mass church. I walked in there in the middle of the scamdemic after being shunned at my regular church and being barred from working. I went downstairs to find the bathroom and walked into another dimension: The hall was filled with maskless people eating, talking, and rubbing elbows while hordes of children were running around having fun. (how dare they) The priests are completely woke and speak about all the things we talk about here. Every Sunday they collected donations for families who were barred from working, and the Pastor would write religious exemption letters for his flock. He is well aware that he risks the wrath of his superiors and he couldn't care less. He has been called by the Archbishop at least once over his sermons and they had the police looking in through the windows at the peak of the insanity. Neighbors also put notes on cars saying, " If you really loved God you would stay home and save lives."
Priests being ""woke"" means they are still under the spell of Leftist Propaganda....
AWAKE means the direct Opposite....
Sorry, that's what I meant. I actually realized that right after I posted it.
Raised Southern Baptist, my wife migrated us to Assembly of God. We have been to several large and small and they all have been what our group would call Based. I have met quite a few people that I would not be surprised to find here….
I attend and am active in a "main line" Protestant church. My family and I left another of those main line churches because of the liberalism. I am not a member and will not be because I believe that denominationalism is counter Biblical and is a fracture of the the intended unity of the Body.
My own experience leads me to understand how to search for a church home in two ways and you need both - head and heart. You need to find someplace that will provide Biblically sound teaching. This is not cherry picking favorite passages to "prove" a socio-political or theological point, but is teaching the entirety of the Bible.
The other aspect is your feeling. I will tell you that this is one I have struggled with but I sincerely believe it to be true. When you walk into a sanctuary, you should feel...something. It is different - it is a holy place and you should feel something different inside yourself. That feeling is the Comforter that was promised and if you pay attention, you will be led deeper into fellowship with the Almighty and everlasting Creator-God
Sounds like you might be more into a Catholic or Orthodox church?
No, main line Protestant, relatively more fundamentalist (I hate labels, but they are sometimes helpful)
I did explore the Catholic church. I found the imagery to be really moving but there was no focus on repentance/redemption/salvation. That I believe to be the bedrock foundation of the Christian faith.
I do not disagree that there does exist a social Gospel. However, I believe that we are taught that works without faith is meaningless and so everything MUST be built of repentance and rebirth. I am not a theologian and so I have a pretty simple understanding...God is Love, We are separated from God by our own sin. We are restored to Him and live in His presence and experience His love by sincere repentance and acceptance of the gift of salvation.
Rather than filter my Biblical understanding thru some social construct, I filter my social views thru a Biblical prism such as I am given understanding built on daily reading.
Repentance/redemption/salvation is actually so important in Catholicism that it is considered a Sacrament. Many good priests talk about it often and make themselves available for confession 24/7. Unfortunately some priests do not promote this as much as they should, but their failure doesn't negate it's necessary role.
From the Catechism of the Catholic Church (1424): It is called the sacrament of confession, since the disclosure or confession of sins to a priest is an essential element of this sacrament. In a profound sense it is also a "confession" - acknowledgment and praise - of the holiness of God and of his mercy toward sinful man.
It is called the sacrament of forgiveness, since by the priest's sacramental absolution God grants the penitent "pardon and peace."
It is called the sacrament of Reconciliation, because it imparts to the sinner the love of God who reconciles: "Be reconciled to God." He who lives by God's merciful love is ready to respond to the Lord's call: "Go; first be reconciled to your brother."
I honestly think you should try to look for a Protestant conservative church. Baptist is probably your best bet.
Find a large one.
One with lots of activity in your age group, and obviously steer clear of the lbgtq mess.
All churches have good and bad points. Just like all people.
Go church shopping.
I’m the one that wrote the long reply on your other thread. But, at this point, you are a seeker, which is completely fine and normal at the beginning of your journey. It is easier to blend in with a large church.
Smaller, more closely knit groups are very rewarding, but can be weird as a “new” believer.
Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter…
I was raised by a seventh - day grandmother. I've been to every form of protestant church and was baptized Lutheran. But I've found them all suspect and lacking. From the symbolism to the chanting, I always feel they're missing the mark...don't get me started on the catholic church. What I come down to is this: God is everywhere. Christ is in all of us. The church...the REAL church...it's in your heart and soul. Invite Him in, and what you'll discover is, he's been there all along. The Bible tells me so. 😉
I go to the church of Jesus Christ of latter Day saints. My dad goes to a traditional Baptist. There are nice girls in both.
I also go to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Some locations even have Singles Ward. Which you can choose to go to, that is just for single adults.
Which ward are you in? I'm in the Gettysburg ward in Clovis California. I didn't think there were any of us awake except myself.
I'm in the Golden Rule Ward in the San Bernardino Mountains. I'd say that maybe 30% or so are awake. I'm one of the few that did not get vaccinated. I got the OG COVID strain in 2020 and survived even though I have Heart Failure.
Happy you fought It of well and still with us, how is John?
I am about to go to the Yuba City temple dedication. There is a lot of based people, and a few not so much. I just sat through another testimony about how we need to be loving by giving Ukraine money .. super awkward. But with how many people complain I think we are mostly based
You're kidding! I thought I was the only based LDS in the whole entire Church! Seriously, I really did think that until I read your post just a second ago. 😱
Raised mainly on independent fundamental Baptist circles, have attended many good southern Baptist churches. Also some non denominational ones are good. Also CREC (some are great, some might not ne as great), Dutch reformed and the non liberal presbyterian churches are good, but I lean reformed baptists. But honestly find a Bible believing/preaching church, study Scripture, repent of your sins and trust Christ alone for your salvation. Become a godly man and you will likely find the kind of girl you are looking for. This is the great awakening.
Look up the Anglican Church in North America. It split from the Episcopal Church after they denied the resurrection and other core parts of the faith. No rainbow or BLM flags in sight in my area.
Every church should publish a "Statement of Faith" or something to that effect on their website which says what they believe in. Avoid churches that put woke garbage in there. Also avoid denominations known for wokeness.
1st, go looking for Jesus at churches until you know Him well. 2nd, let Him lead you and a woman together. Worked for me.
A Christian one; if they aren't talking about Jesus Christ, then it is a church in name only. You can probably eliminate half the ones in your area by the rainbow flags and other signs promoting BS posted on the exterior. Also, those with a playground or some other outward signs of significant numbers of children are more likely to be based.
No church/religious organization with a 501(C)(3) is going to be truly based. To keep their exemption they have to abstain from political partisanship. Find an independent free (of gov control) church.
This!
Try to find a non-denominational community church. Look for good preaching, growth groups (Bible study small groups) and focus on the Word of God.
I like to experience as many different churches and services as possible.
As a long time rv traveler I have been to many churches with lots of labels.
Inevitably I am always asked, "what church do you belong to etc."?
So I had to make up an all encompassing answer,
I am "Omni-Denominational," I tell them with exuberance.
Takes them by surprise every time, but folks seem to understand immediately.
Faith is all encompassing. Try them all.
