To start and for full disclosure, I didn't screenshot it at the time, and I don't rememeber every single detail correctly, but it struck me as so odd because of the circumstances, it was hard to forget.

In 2013 an article appeared on the Internet, and it was one of the oddest things I've ever read online.
Likewise, it was a reliable publication that had it up which lent it more weight. IIRC it was a post, Washington Post or New Yort Post. Anyways, the article started off discussing Obama having a second term. The disasters of the first term let several military leaders to believe the Union would be in big trouble with him on the second term. To the effect that, with a second term, it was discussed by several generals and other Intelligence officials, whether or not to stage a coup and forcibly oust Obama to preserve the Union. Several (at the time) recent decisions of Obama's had forced them to consider their options.
It went on quite matter of factly that while most thought it was a good idea, there would not be enough popular support from the public to support a military coup, given Obama's popularity at the time, no precedent for a military coup in American history, and the optics from the press who had been running cover for the administration. The article continued on that while it wasn't off the table, it wouldn't work for the time being and they would have to pursue different options.
It was an amazing article and was, what I believe to be, the beginning planning stages of the information war we are currently in.
I brought this up on GAW a couple/few years ago and someone mentioned having seen the same article, but they didn't get a screen grab either. If anyone else remembers the article, or better yet grabbed it, it may be good to have it as part of the historical record, IMHO.
It's impossible to find vids, articles or news clips that don't align with their agenda anymore. If they're changing/hiding/censoring/altering history NOW...can you imagine how inaccurate our real history is??

Yeah, that is not the article I remember, and that junk at the end about JP Morgan and the FDR plot is all new, but not surprising.

It was an editorial on Newsmax by John perry in 2009, titled "Obama Risks a Domestic Military Intervention."
It was scrubbed hard. Newsmax pulled it 2 days later. Wayback machine said it was archived, but you go to where it is supposed to be and its empty. You can find reaction pieces to it, but I didn't find the article. But this page has an excerpt, probably enough to confirm whether it's the one you remember.

Those were not the article, but yes, they are part of the precursor. The one I saw was specifically second term oriented, and it discussed to the effect they were seriously considering a couple, but decided against it at that time. The Euro/Russian one u/TwoPhish found was much closer in timeline and content, less the JP Morgan component.
Oh well. Hard to find old stuff.

A lot of top Military Brass, especially from SOCOM, knew Obama and Joe were dirty. After Extortion 17 went down, they knew that Gold Squadron were set up. Many of the SEALs who were lost, had sent letters back home to their loved ones, stating that they knew something bad was going to happen to them, in the days leading up to August 6, 2011. Rumor has it, that the Bin Laden raid wasn’t what we were told. I personally think that Bin Laden was being kept in Iran for many years, and was most likely dead well before the raid, and that the raid was all for show, as we were heading into an election year, and Barry and Joe needed a victory.
It lends credibility to the plan, even Jan Harper said they were going to remove Obama and then decided to wait Maybe at the time they were using it to see how much of the country would support the idea/ test the awakeness of the country

I remember something similar to this that spelled out how the military would step in and save us if we went far enough down the path to becoming a communist country. Of course I'll never find that again either.

There is precedent for holding a coup in this country. It's called THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION.
The documentary Greatest Show on Earth discusses (briefly) this fact.

I think I remember seeing something along those lines. I am in agreement that we didn't need a military coup at that time, because people would have fought that coup attempt. Besides, it is hard to pinpoint the 2012 election steal as Mitt Romney just kept people at home, and Obama was still pretty popular.
