I waited 2-3 minutes to see if she exploded or something, then turned my phone back on and got the alert, but in espanol even though I'm English speaking and phone settings are English. (I'm in AZ tho, so maybe based on geography they made some assumptions)
My phone was in the unplugged microwave - no message. My DH got it at 11:19 PDT. He was curious - I was over cautious. My electrical engineer DH had all his alert settings off his iPhone, but still he got it. Very interesting experiment. No Zombies or Black Hat assets going off in our neck of the woods. :-)
I put my wife in the oven with her phone (oven off) and the damn alert still came through so now I quarantined her in the basement until further notice or until she needs to cook dinner.

I didn't note the timestamp but my husband and I both work from home and I got the alert more than a minute before he did. We're on the same wireless plan.

An online friend in the UK got an alert. he was beyond confused.
