When I started teaching in 79 and through the 80s, if any teacher was caught being sexually involved with a kid, the superintendent and the school board would run the teacher through wringer and turn all evidence to the local prosecutor.

Even more sick news. When teachers and priests ( likely other unions too, but can't confirm ) molest kids and get busted, they actually don't get put away.

The molestors did get removed from that district & shipped off to the same job in another district/county.

Happened 3 times in our area, that we know of. As long as the problem is removed from the immediate area, parents think it's solved.

Maybe you're wondering how I followed up on these pervs. I didn't. They were the ones that came to OUR district w/ a pedo resume. It's so fkd up that those that are the most vile get ZERO punishment.

Everything is an illusion. People are clueless until they go try to use one of the system in our lives, i.e. cops, courts, schools, elections, healthcare, education, banking, etc.

But these criminal pedos think they have a right to hide the fact of mutilating another person's child gir life without a paeents consent? All of them must be arrested and prosecuted and never allowed to be near children again

I know this seems shocking but this is a classic case of “If you’re wrong the law, argue the facts….If you’re wrong on the facts, argue the law.” This is the nature of our adversarial system…each side will zealously advocate to win and the judge or jury decides.

When one send kids to school, a contract is signed, yes?

Perhaps, it is wise to reconsider these "standard" contracts and put some rules of your own in there. When they say: no, you know.

I'm going to stake my hopes and faith in the decency of humanity that this is a misunderstanding.

I hope that this is a case where lawyers are arguing there is no legal responsibility, meaning specifically some ordinance or statute that requires this specifically. Lawyers run into arguments like this all the time where corporations or bureaucracies are attempting to avoid liability.

They may have a moral duty, but that may not be the question they're discussing in court, and thus we have a statement outside of context. I'm hoping this is what this is because the alternative is really, really ugly.

But do they argue that you have to use pronouns?

Why is this so unreal?

The parent DUTY is to protect their kids from these demons, and they should be free to serve out the justice these monsters deserve. .
