IMO in due time both parties will dissolve. We won't vote for a political party. We'll vote for a person/platform. Our government got too big. In fact, I don't even think we need a federal government but I digress. I think in time there will be one party, the American party or Patriot party or Constitutional party or whatever party. We can't be 'united' states when we start out with division in parties!
We should do away with political parties altogether. The issues that face us cannot always be homogenized into a platform that everyone has to get onboard with. Parties are just big slush funds where they take your money and spend it on people you'd never vote for. We need a secure way to vote for people, not parties. Maybe it would be better to just vote on issues rather than individuals. Like a menu where everything is ala carte. Vote for or against issues and those that get the most votes are enacted.

Maybe that's how reality is created. Your ad hominem 'hopium' response is maybe why nothing seems to change. Do you think we started out with Dems and Reps? Of course not. Our two-party corrupt system is broken beyond repair. We're obviously going through a global shift. So I encourage you to think bigger and broader. We create our reality. Our problem is that WE HAVE a one party system, the "Uniparty." Just because it is split up into Team Democrat and Team RINO doesn't change the underlying reality. Having a single party is no cure for anything. Throwing the RINOs out of the GOP and making it MAGA is the only real prospect of re-establishing a two-party system, and giving freedom-loving people a party to turn to.
And it flies in the face of human nature. Not everyone will agree over any number of positions, so there will always be alliances under the heading of the points that they agree over. In the nature of political history, there will always be a struggle over those who wish to be free and those who wish to enslave.

But we have this 'uniparty' deceptively. The parties merged when globalization became their goal. This happened during George HW Bush 1-term reign in the 90's (PNAC = Project for the New American Century ) (Bush was an awful man who r*ped and murdered children but I digress again)
We need representatives with different platforms. We don't need different parties. We need to vote on a person. Not a party. Having different parties is like having different gangs. It's too easy to persuade a party with favors, trades, bribes, barter etc. This leads to corruption. But when you have ONE person, it's harder to corrupt because all eyes are on him/her as opposed to the entire DNC or RNC
Our government got too big. It's impossible to keep checks and balances on 535 people. They work for us and we don't even know when or IF they even show up to work on a given day.
DC needs to be turned into a museum where future generations can see how antiquated and corrupt America once was.

he does have skin in the game in exposing government corruption, so that makes him very attractive to people sick of the swamp. but then he goes right back to 'government is the solution to everything' like a liberal. it's odd.
plus, he touched his nose to signal that JFK Jr was alive... so there's that...
It’s not odd if he is the 2024 path to election rigging. The narrative next October will be the race is tightening and RFK Jr. Is siphoning off the independent voters from President Trump. And, Biden miraculously squeaks out another term.

The only thing RFKJr has in common with MAGA and conservatives is a distrust of the CDC/FDA/Vax establishment. That's about it.
In so many ways, I really like RFK Jr... but he is not in any way shape or form, a Conservative. His policy beliefs are not anything like Trump's. As an old school liberal, RFK Jr would be tolerable, but he simply could not make America great again.

I know I know I know..........this is going to sound ridiculous so I'll own that however......am I the only one who thinks MAYBE, just maybe JFK jr is going around pretending to be RFK jr? I mean, what a great way to disguise ones voice too. I've thought about this in passing but then talked myself out of it because Robert Kennedy jr is a real person. At least he used to be. He's the son of the slain attorney general/senator, Robert Kennedy. So I know he's not a fictional character however....I watched a long tarot reading yesterday and IMO this woman has been pretty spot on in her past readings which are not always political in nature. So after her insisting JFK jr MAYBE hiding in plain sight it got me thinking about RFK jr again. I'll post YT link below. What say you?

There have been a lot of posts floating the idea that RFK Jr. might be the V.P. pick. But, there have also been a lot of posts pointing out he is very liberal. My point is President Trump’s post sure seems to be shutting down the speculation he would somehow choose RFK Jr.

Total agreement. I posted this because the discussion pops up occasionally, not because I agree with the idea.
Thank God Trump is not a politics as usual guy so the old politics as usual concept of a unity ticket won’t appeal to him. The only thing it unifies is the Uniparty. I’m confident he’ll pick someone who unifies people.
Even here there are people who think there would be any scenario in which Trump would pick a liberal as a running mate. That's very disheartening.

Yeah, I didn’t really think he was, but DJT has surprised me before. I also do not think any one of the candidates on the debate stage is a possibility for VP. I think he already has someone in mind.
