I took my mom to her doctor's appointment today. When she got our, she said her doctor said CV was the worst thing that ever happened to the medical profession because it was all BS and the result is that patients have completely lost trust. He was the one during the height of CV that once in the exam room, would tell her to take the mask off.
It really is up to the profession to earn back the trust. They are going to have to figure that one out on their own.
Maybe but i think a lot of it comes from their training. I have a family friend who is a GP , Lovely guy but completely owned by the medical establishment and Science as a God.
They are told that they are geniuses and the best of the best and that anyone who questions it is a loon, their egos are massively invested in the image of them as a saviour of humanity. This starts when they start Medical school and are still kids.
Sad really
Yes, that's what I mean about being stupid. Sure, they might have good memorization skills that get them through school, but they are stupid enough to believe their own hype.
These folks think they are healers, or at least they think they know much more about health than you. So any suggestion that their actions are causing harm to children will cause them to rear back into a defensive crouch.
Also, of course, every US doctor is absolutely paranoid about malpractice lawsuits, so that's another reason why they would obfuscate, ignore or attack.
You know how frustrating it is when you call customer service with an issue (especially tech-related) and they have a script they cannot deviate from? Even when you know they are headed in completely the wrong direction but their script demands they continue on that wrong path?
That's the same vibe I get from the new computer-based medical interactions.
When we go to the doctor's office (only when we absolutely must), all of our interactions are now guided by predetermined scripts. Those scripts lead the doctors &/or nurses along a very narrow path with very specific (big pharma mostly) outcomes.
Heaven forbid if you try to deviate from their scripts.
I believe this new way of conducting patient interactions is more about shunting medical professionals into automaton roles.
It keeps them from moving outside the boundaries set by the medical industrial complex. And it kills their desire to investigate further for proper diagnoses, aka it kills their curiosity.
I think you're absolutely right. Just like public schools strip the creativity from children, medical schools strip the independent thought from doctors.
There are a couple of subrreddits I still read from time to time and it is appalling to see how many families have kids who are autistic. It just seems to be the New Normal for a lot of people.
Well, clearly it's global worming and racist-isms for why it happening, goy. Just wait till "people" make it mandatory to put bugs in food, then you'll really see a plague.
We are way past malpractice.
Many of them are guilty of involuntary manslaughter.
I would even question if it's involuntary.
getting bonus checks for cold bodies doesn't seem involuntary
Pay to slay, American Style
Journalists too

My kids' pediatrician retired early because she called BS, but her practice was all aboard the Coof train.
Sucks to lose a good doctor. I hope their doing well off and the economy isn't crashing their retirement.
We have a lot of fake doctors pushing fake medicine. Time to return to truth.
Public hangings would go a long way.
Who says they don't make the connection. True, some of them are that stupid. But many docs make plenty of $ doling out those vaxxes.

Med school filters out a lot of non-sociopaths
Paid killers

Scary stuff if not stopped.
It's gone way past murder for money.

It's heartbreaking.
They won't bite the hand that feeds them.

Whatever point that is, we're long past it.
They all know, but they like money more.
