The city wanted to use the bottom floors of the buildings for services and the homeless and clean the streets. The city took it to the county and they said it was a good idea. The county went where they had to go for the permission and found out the owners of the two high rises were the Chinese. The Chinese said no we could not do that. Use the buildings for our homeless.
So much of our country has been sold out with industry and now you are just hearing about land. Sarah Huckabee Sanders just made the Chinese sell their land back to the US in Arkansas! She's definitely a vice presidential contender.
