It could also be Trump literally telling everyone that diamonds are a scam. Which, they are. But they are now technically worthless. If they can be artificially recreated on demand.......indistinguishable from luxury-grade, then that industry is over.
I wonder if the Cabal have been trying to transfer their wealth into diamonds and Trump just pissed on their gig?
I once read that millions of diamonds are held back to keep the price up. It said if they were released diamonds would cost less than 10 bucks for what is now a 5k rock.
Diamonds became scare by the diamond mining companies. They mine a bunch, and keep them locked up hidden. The whole diamond engagement ring scam was created for guys to buy the diamond and women to love the diamond. The better value are/ where always jems. But thanks to marketing, its the diamond
So where is that?
Semi precious stones are actually rarer than diamonds.
I read some where a while ago how gems like jade were the more value because of its beauty (not financial value). Where as a diamond is clear. It has to be cut a certain way in order to make it sparkle and be more eye apealing. Before diamonds were considered an engagement ring where a man would have to buy x amount of his salary, it would be gems the man would buy.
Allow me to translate, I speak Interwebs:
"Precious gemstones have always been a better investment vehicle than diamonds."
When lab made diamonds got consistent all those DeBeers commercials stopped. Just sayin…
Proposed to my wife with a lab grown. She loves it. All her friends think it’s a $20,000 ring, little do they know…
Most metals and minerals will soon be able for artificial production
I could be wrong, but I don't think metals can be replicated, only mined.
Since they're already at the basic elemental level.....
Who knows what new alloys could be achieved through experimentation, though.
Who knows what alloys have been created but aren't available to the public?
Alloys are not elements.
This. Who knows all the amazing things they are hiding.
Have you ever heard of a nanofabricator? Just started learning about them yesterday. A nanofab is essentially a 3d printer that allows you to design a project on the atomic level. The result is perfect precision after you had arranged the materials atomic structure to be 100% exact.
Even a supernova is not powerful enough to fuse elements to create heavy metals, you need a kilonova
As far as we know.
Gold and silver are common in the universe (I heard).. and even then, there is a lot left on Earth to mine and the technology to mine it keeps getting better.
If you have figured out Alchemy
I actually think I saw what random was talking about however the amount of energy used to convert to gold literally is more expensive than the gold.
What if the US Debt Clock is correct and Gold will be at $12k/oz at some point in 2025?
Is that even realistic?
Would that then make the conversion process worth it?
Lab created diamonds are in higher demand since they are used in all kind of tools.
