It says they are blockading roads, but traffic is just driving past them. I pulled up a traffic map an hour ago during rush hour and didn't see any real blockades aside from one area to the southeast. Check it yourself.
However, remember when they said that the Freedom Convoy truckers were blocking the roads, access for Emergency Vehicles, etc? They weren’t after the first day, (and never blocked Emergency Vehicles, ever). Optics all. This could be an attempt to spin the narrative in order to clamp down on the protestors by the governments.
Or, we should consider who controls Google, in showing them NOT being blocked.
Either way. Trust nothing. Let’s see how it pans out...in 24 to 36 hour increments.
Has anyone found any sauce on that three day claim that isn't a Tweet from an opposition politician? I'm not sure I've seen any traffic congestion map or overhead video showing that everything is actually even blocked. Thinking of my own city you'd have to block a ridiculous number of roads to do it.
A few big cities are enough to turn a red state blue, and they look down their noses at people they consider deplorable and racist, not realizing they make their city life possible. Cities don't produce anything, all their food has to be trucked in, their power has to be wired in, the water mostly has to be piped in and their sewer has to be piped out, their garbage has to be trucked out. A couple dozen roadblocks and a big city would be wallowing in their own filth, starving, thirsty and in the dark.
