I do not agree with group condemnation - group sideeyeing, sure, but not condemnation - but what makes it so hard to judge an individual based on clear reality and his clear conflicts of interest in cases like this? I think one weakness of many evangelical churches is they don't have a set scripture reading schedule, so people often get less exposure to the four gospels. People in older style churches like Lutheran/Catholic/ect, despite their faults, get exposed to Jesus vs the unbelieving Jews every 3rd or 4th Sunday.
