Israel states they wish to eliminate Hamas. I understand and respect a country that wishes to exterminate a bunch or terrorists that has murdered a number of its citizens. My question is how this could realistically be done in Gaza?
When Israel sends troops into Gaza, who are they targeting? Do they know exactly which men raided Israel and where they are located? Do they know who in Gaza helped support them?
Are they aware of certain buildings where Hamas operations are run out of and targeting those?
Or are they just marching\driving through the streets and and waiting for someone to shoot at them so they can fire back?
It seems to me, that elimination of Hamas would be almost impossible as it is an idea more than it is some specific people. It would be like trying to kill all of MAGA.

This is about solving the problem. Step one: take out Hamas and Hezbolla. Step two: resettle the Palestinians outside the region. Step three: take out the DS (occurring through out the other steps). Step four: expand the Abraham Accords. Step five: make Israel economically and militarily independent of our aid. Step six: get them out of our shit. Peace and prosperity.

Israel is using normal tactics in Gaza. They declared war from the start and said that an independent state of Gaza is a thing of the past. If they remove troops from Gaza, it is just to gain information on HAMAS movement and fortifications. There is no safe zone in Gaza, nor will there be any time soon.

The Palestinian people elected Hamas, allowed them to build tunnels under their homes, and allowed them to set up operations in their hospitals and schools to be used as meat shields. Hamas has no identifying informs. Hamas = Palestinians and Palestinians = Hamas.
I don’t have a side in this war that has been going on longer than I have been alive. Genocide is just a word that the losing side uses as a war tactic. If on October 7th the Palestinians had wiped out the Israelis, I would have shrugged my shoulders and said good this is over. But they didn’t and I don’t blame the Israelis now for destroying the Palestinians. .
If the USA has massive and pervasive election fraud, there is no reason to think that Palestine doesn't have election fraud.
Israel create HAMAS and, I believe, Netanyahu has supported HAMAS as recently as 2017, since they allow Israel to archive it's objectives.
Also, the Israeli military ordered a standdown for 7 hours during the HAMAS attack, so they were working with HAMAS.
