I'm telling you folks the difference between Russia and the USA is unbelievable!
They have chandeliers in the subway; art in the subway and ALL the floors are clean in ALL stores and in the subway.
That and the number of people on cell phones was minimal as people walked around.
It is a city that I would be proud to live in. Compared to the cities we have here.
That and with all the sanctions applied to Russia, a weeks worth of groceries they bought in Russia would have cost about $400.00 here; But when they got to checkout it was $104.00 in US currency.

One thing that became painfully obvious was when I went from the Texas / New Mexico area north into North Dakota, Montana, and Wyoming was that even the fast food places were cleaner. The highways, the hotels and much more were also cleaner.
You want to know what changed? The demographics! You can see that same shift when going from small town America to the shithole big cities, and for the same damned reason.
Because so much of our wealth that could have made us look prosperous, has been stolen for secret black ops projects and sent as foreign aid (laundered back to our "elites")
To get our cities back. The problems will go far beyond just voting/throwing out liberals and RINOS. And Crackdowns on crime. Though those would be massive steps in the right direction.
